OK I have now been to my local reputable bike shop try's and they have confirmed that the spokes i that have sent wont fit there not even close.

I couldn't work out if i wanted disc or not, so that's not that bad. The main issue is the build and the spokes. well all i can really say is i should have waited and gone to Tarty-bikes

OK as the last topic about them got closed iv had to start another. OK I thought it would be a good idea to tell people form my own experience. They don't answer there phone, emails or msn. I have phoned them like 5-7 times on different days with no answer (this is before I ordered and received my wheel) I have emailed them 3 times with only one reply.(before i received my wheel) I emailed them asking about wheel building and spokes (got a reply to my questions, they stated they would give me a quote) I emailed them asking how to select a wheel build and also let them know what i wanted(no reply) I went ahead and ordered my wheel any giving the benefit of the doubt. I emailed them to confirm that i wanted to get my wheel built and the correct parts were ordered. (no reply) I ordered = wheel build try-all rim red 32h Viz non disk hub red Viz front spokes I got= one non build wheel try-all rim red 32h (YAY correct) viz disk hub red viz spokes 20 in one size and 11 in the other. I can see they wouldnt fit even if i had enough. Any way this is just to people know.

Hi everyone I'm looking for new forks for my 24"DMR sidekick. (That don't cost the earth) To be honest i don't know much about sus forks. I'm running 100mm travel forks and was thinking of getting some forks with 115mm. I do tend to nose dive when I do 4x and jumps so i thought that some stiffer forks with a tad more travel would be better. My old forks were manitou stance they took a pounding, I managed to go through 2 sets off seals before I broke the steerer tube out of them. I'm running suntour forks at the moment and oh my god there so soft (and Sh@t) they bottom out on the way to work lol Advice would be much appreciated.

If you are going to take it up with trading standards they probably will want to see the frame. But I take it you have sold the frame on and also kept riding it after you realised there was something wrong with the frame. If you had stopped riding it straight away then you might have had a case. I'm not 100% if it was you but if you/your friend has drilled wholes in the frame, this will invalidate your warranty even if they were done after the event

I'm really sorry for your loss. There is lots of opportunist thieves out there . But y would you leave your £800 pride and joy on its own? not meaning to be harsh but couple of tips for the future (I live by these and the work)= . Don't go more than 10ft away from it without locking it up. . Stay with your bike at all times (when not having a lock) . Don't trust any one that looks even slightly dodgy.

I have got a piss-pot helmet. I normally where one when i'm doing something dodgy of if I'm trying something new. But its probably a good idea to where it all the time.
