Hi every one planning on going to porc on saturday. I cant remember whats there, any info would be appreciated. as far as i remember there is some Nibbles there
It all depends on what you want from your booster, 2 bolt boosters are lighter than a 4 bolt. but a 4 bolt booster will stop your frame from flexing better than a 2 bolt. How much does your frame flex? . My friend 3dd has got the same frame as me, I run a 4 bolt booster he runs a 2 bolt my frame almost doesn't flex at all and his frame only flex's like 1-2 mill more than mine. hope this helps
Thanks but i think an engineering firm might not be such a good idea as they prob wont have any experience straightening a frame. Iv actually bent the crap out of it. I'm running 24" wheels in a 26" frame and and the wheel is against the frame lol. I am actuary planning on getting a full build DMR transition 24" so straitening the old one out is just for old times sake and poss future re-sail.
OK I know this is a trials forum but I know quite a few of you dirt jump as well. I dent the chain stays on my lovely LTD edition DMR sidekick about a month ago and I was wondering if any of you knew if there is any were I can send it to get it straitened out, I was thinking of trying to send it back to DMR does any one know if I can do this . . Also have any one had a frame straitened out and did it work? I'm worried that it will just bend again and be totally mashed.
As far as I'm aware all you have to do is stick it in the bath, undo the the bleed screws then pump the brake so its full of water and no bubbles, Still with the brake under water do up the bleed screws, then bingo one bled brake
A month or so ago I bent my ltd DMR side kick so now I need a new jump bike. I have got 2 bikes in mind but id like to know what you think would be the bast idea. no. one full build DMR Drone! £599 no. two frame DMR transition £300 , New Marzocchi dj2's £200, and all the parts off my bent side kick which are kind of the same speck as the drone.
I love my pro2 trials, I had some problems with the springs at the start but its been working now with no skipping for 6-7 months. But I must admit I think FFW's are the way forward.
