  1. Try using the search !st but I have done it for you. Search Results for side hop's . Mr dc13 in some respects a purpose built trials bike will be easier to dalliance on and learn on yet again it can be a tad tricky getting used to not having a seat.
  2. OK I haven't got the slightest idea tomm. I will have a look in to it when I'm back at work. The topping out is nasty I'm guessing it will be 10 times as worse hacking it off a jump. My dmr and I have beaten 1 set of manitou stance forks twice, suntor didn't even jump them and broke them so yeah the rst's are going to be crap lol next in line following the trend of crapper forks will be off an Apollo lol
  3. OK I hope you can help me out with some advice on a couple of bits please. I acquired some 120mm Rst forks for my DMR (I know sorry) I haven't managed to bottom them out yet unlike the pile of poo Suntor ones I had on it before, but now I have a problem with them topping out even as I ride off kerbs. Is there any thing I can do about this as it is even more dodgy than the old ones botoming out. Can I incert some kind of rubber washer some were? The forks are only coil by the way. Also at the same time I swapped my 160mm disc for a 180 and now no matter how hard I do up the Qr under hard braking it forces my front wheel to move out the drop out. which any one can amagen isnt safe hehe. I know getting some good forks might help a tad.
  4. I think there Is going to be quite a few non trials street riders going from what I here.
  5. No buying or selling on nmc shame on you!
  6. What tune? "Hey guys could anyone tell me who does this tune and what its called? Thanks. "
  7. I might be totally wrong but Iv known some strange people that have done this on bmx. Is it possible that's his slightly mad and disengaged his chain? Iv come to this conclusion because yo don't see him pedaling in on the clips. when you see him pedaling in to things and he fakie's back he has to pedal like normal.
  8. Could just use a softer compound pad and not have to grind it at all if not two or three times a year. Are you actually riding with a wet rim or is your rim gets covered with mud? If your pads are all manky with mud and stuff no matter what grind or pads are its never going to work 100%.Try using a damp louth always works for me on the rim and sand the pads when they need it. Regular grinding will always wear any rim out quicker.
  9. yes and no depends how much and often you grind it. A grind isn't always necessary you can get the same bite and hold from different pads and set up's.
  10. My one is doing fine . my biggest drop has only been like 6-7 ft, A friend of mine has had his for a year and a half and its only just starting to die (he does bigger stuff than me btw) . If you keep all the spokes tight you shouldn't have any problems. My grind lasted about 5 months but then i just stuck some nice soft sticky pads on, job done!
  11. For a new bike any thing from £400 £500 will get you a nice bike £1000 for a pretty high speck one. Its a good idea to start with a full build then upgrade as you mash parts. It's always a good idea spend as much as you can afford.
  12. Yeah that's what I'm saying. your question was... what disc brake should I get and what size? Well 180 rotor and hope mono!!! 203 will be massive and you prob won't need that much power your not doing dh on it or weigh 25 stone, and you prob will just smash it all the time
  13. I would say give 180 a try and hope. I stuck a 180 on my jump bike going from a 160 and its twice as good. Still not to big but not to small.
  14. That's Surely not a good thing.
  15. +1 Its not that hard to do in the end all you have to do is work at it and re read your posts before you add them. It will come naturally after a while. It also helps if your helpful to other new members answering there questions and other such stuff.
  16. Yeah m8 there what me and 3dd running and there all goood!!!!
  17. One problem. Will we be to preoccupied watching all the amazing riders to actually ride?
  18. If you do see something on e-bay you like the look of post a link up on the forum and people will be more than happy to give there opinions.
  19. This guy knows . That's what I think when I look at mine, but the only problem is you might be worried about bashing up your baby and not ride it as hard as you should.
  20. You cant go wrong with a Hope pro 2 trials cassette on try all rims or if your a basher echo rims. With Hope parts they are expensive but genitally bomb proof I'm running echo cranks and bash, truvativ bb's, vp pedals all strong and relatively cheap.
  21. Smoby just a little heads up you can sound like a right nob end at times. I know your trying to help people but you know you can come off as being patronising at times. (That reminds me of a v good jimmy carr joke)
  22. It should do, like I said my magura's are doing fine haven't had to bleed them since haven't noticed any leaks.
