Ok cheers. I just wasn't sure. What do you think of square taper middleburns? I got some with my first frame and I have never used them. Im having some problems with my Isis Sl's at the moment so i thought i would try the middleburns for once. I have brought a neon carbon taper bb from tarty as well. I have never heard of any problems but it would just be re assuring to know they aren't going to break on me. Thanks Sam

Im not exactly a light rider. I run 19Psi in a tryall stiky front and 21-28Psi in a minion 2.35 dual ply rear. Is just about right

My mate had this problem a couple of weeks ago when he ordered his new bike he got tnn cnc pads and an echo sl brake and the pads wouldn't stay in the slaves. They fit my magura fine though. Hes now got heatsink coust cnc pads and they fit fine. Which backings do you have?

A few months ago when I had my '07 Python I was out riding for the day, had a good day and then on my way home and I was just messing about on the back wheel and my rear crossover snapped and as I fell off the barb went straight into my leg and tore a hole in my thigh. Luckily it was outside my house but I still had to sit and wait for an hour for my mum to come home and take me to hospital with my leg pouring with blood. Then when I got to the hospital they told me that there wasn't enough skin and flesh to stitch it up, so they wrapped my leg in bandages and told me to wait for it to heal naturally. Then I got home to find that my barb was covered in my skin and flesh from my leg. Haha. Was out of riding for a month. And then I discovered braided crossovers:)

I have always soaked the rotor in white spirit or paint thinners over night. Works a treat.

Hi, I am looking at replacing my front Magura with a 180mm Hope Mono Trial Carbon/T.I. I am quite a heavy rider (15stone) and i was wondering if it will hold well with all of my weight on it? Cheers Sam

Cheers for the comments. I changed the gear ratio from 18:16 to 18:15 yesterday and now i have got perfect tension without tensioner Rode Cardiff today and it rides so much better now. Will put up some updated pics in the next couple of days.

No the normal Pro 2 freehub body wont fit the Pro 2 Trials because the standard Pro 2 has a 9spd freehub body. The only place that I know that you can get one is Halfords believe it or not. I have got one from them before and it came the day after I ordered it. The Hope item number you will need to give them is HUB514. This will make their lives a lot easier and therefore they may actually order it for you there and then. Hope this helps

Cheers for all the comments. Weight isn't really an issue for me as I'm not the lightest rider in the world but it does ride nice though. The sram mech works really well but I will be getting a new tensioner as soon as i can decide on which one to go for.
