If you have any questions about modification. If your after advice on pads, breaks, setups etc. post it here so that the forum doesnt get clogged up with everyones queries. and someone on here will get back to you with helpful answer. This is jsut my contribution to Trials Forum, i hope it helps. Dan.

  9. hmm i never really position my feet.. but having the front half of my feet on the pedals helps more for hopping and such. as you can bend the rest of your foot around the pedal, for more grip and control Dan.
  10. yes i think some riders do grind there front rim, maybe somehing to do with tapping? the extra grip like. watch the rim grind video in wiki., its vey helpfull. also you can tell who has ground there rim or not just by looking at it Dan.
  11. it depends what the rest of your bike looks like. id say they look pretty damn HOT but i recks if yer gonna paint spokes get them annodised pink Dan.
  12. ahahaha most of the chavs that get a bike master the art of wheelying, i find it funny at a skatepark or somewhere. you get bmxer's stackin up the 360's then theres chavs jsut wheelying round, "look at me dick'ed, oi you f**kin twat look at me im wheelying!! loook! oi greeb look!" ahaha Dan.
  13. yeah it helps to laugh at a crash
  14. errrrrrrr lol, my worst crash, id say was trying to backhop off a wall about 6ft.. backhopped sideways but my wheel got a bit stuck in the mud (it was one of those walls next to an embankment.) bike stayed there i went flying, to say the least i ate concrete dont try it aha :] Dan
  15. sorry typo, i meant "a decent back break" but if he is a beginner, he probably wont use the right amount of tar, therefor his break will lock up unexpectedly. i myself havn't used adamant pads. you will have to tell me how they feel? but tar is a good option if you dont use TOO much, my standard maggie blacks were quite good with tar, so i'd love to see what a decent compound break pad would be like with tar. Dan,
  16. yeah trust me dude, you wont go anywhere fast without decent back break! you maybe should have payed a litle bit more and got heatsink blueberry, pads. they have AMAZING hold and a very snappy bite, nice sound to them aswell. just go out wack your mp3 on. maybe go along to some of the rides that the members organise? get some tricks n tips there? i'm sure they would be more thn delighted to help you out. Dan.
  17. no problem matey, glad i was of some use
  18. basically what they said. but if your going on to ask how to do it. click wiki, brakes. and voila. its all there, and if you dont understand after that, then ask Dan.
  19. erm... erm.. if they all talk like that... then i don't think i want to hear of them vocabulary of a 2 year old comes to mind? aha, it's allways fun to laugh at fellow NMC's Dan.
