  1. IF nothing can be arranged, big oxford ride?
  2. Yeah and I ride trials too... I enjoy riding trials and I like my bike, but not to the point I refer to it as a she. It's a seatless bike with one gear. It is annoying. I just find it silly how people are obsessed with their bike and won't do something that may result in scratching it. If you don't worry so much then I always find I ride better.
  3. found out today it saved 42 grams

But do you like emo/scene girls?
  6. 17 and 16 tooth sprockets will make it harder to get power down. I'd go for 22 on front and 19 on back personally
  7. Cooling it down quickly after is a way of hardening it up. I wasn't certain about it but doing what I said will probably make it stronger than just having it welded then left.
  8. You don't need to get it re-heat treated. Heat treating (I think) is when the frame will be heated to a high temperature then cooled down very quickly. The reason welding undoes this is because instead of cooling it down quickly it's left to cool down by itself. So if after welding you were to put it in water (enough to cover whole frame) the heat treating won't have been undone and it will be as strong as before
  9. Well you just made yourself look more of a noob. No pre-members are allowed to buy or sell on the forum till they are a full member.
  10. I think your frame would look shiny and you'd have some colourfull parts on. How original. Anyway, i personally don't really like the colourfull stuff on bikes, I don't mind some small parts like hubs/headset but I think anything in some colour apart from black/silver looks poo. But thats my opinion and it's up to you at the end of the day..
  11. Errr never knew that. Trials bikes are annoying. Yeah they are fun to ride but they are annoying to get about on and they annoy other people from the brake noise. Go up to a random guy in the street and ask him if he'd find your bike annoying to use.
  12. As long as you don't land on your maggie you will be fine dx32 rims are THE BEST rims ever. And when they are undrilled they are about 100grams lighter than a rear echo 07 rim!
  13. When you get a bike with no seat, one annoying gear and annoying brakes, you fall in love with it? God help you.
  14. To tuck you literally have to bring the bike up with your legs. Just keep practicing and it should come to you eventually If you can get 48" with no tuck then fair play! Wouldn't mind seeing the video
  15. Why would that happen when vee's have more hold/power.
  16. Didn't think of the creepy crawler :$ And I didn't realise the hansventure was a trials specific tire
  17. I doubt it would be much more, think about how many knobs could be cut off if you did every other one on the side knobs..... Gotta be like 30-40 knobs? Can someone count how many knobs they have for me?
  18. Nah, it means you can save 20 whole grams!!!!11111!!
  19. They start from birth. Then they will work their way through their life and probably around the age of 6 will get a bike of some kind. Then probably around early teens they will pay an interest in bike trials and give it a go. Few years of getting good then they ride comps. Get good at comps. Keep improving/pushing themselves. Then eventually if they are committed enough they may possibly become an elite rider. Hope this helped you see how comp riders started their riding career.
  20. Well you're losing part of your tire, so you will be losing weight. And it adds grip, so there are good points to doing it.
  21. Vincent Hermance is the best rider in the world No one can actually deny that because how can you say whos the best street rider? Comp riders are the only ones that you can rate in my opinion.
  22. I think you should stop calling it a her and call it a bike..... Why do people get so obsessive over how their bike looks, you'll be scared to scratch it then.
  23. Because companies like Maxxis don't make trials tires, they make downhill tires. No. Got a spare tire to hand? push the tread in a bit and you'll see all the knobs get closer. If there are a few less knobs then an edge of a knob can grip the edge of something better. Otherwise its like having a nearly slick tire on the edge.
  24. I doubt it would make a remarkable difference to be honest. I've used cable thats 6 months old and my brake still felt as spongy when I put new inner cable on.
  25. Koxx's are really stiff frames usually. Especially the coust frames! you can set up the pads around 1mm close to the rim (With a decent wheel build) and pedal the hardest you can up a hill and the brake wont rub AT ALL. Was talking to Bigman and he had to take off his cnc backings on his magura because his brake was so stiff it hurt his fingers!
