thats true for normal magura though says it in the manual "to help magura life, loosen off TPA when not using" or something to that effect... but nobody bothers, if its going to freeze.. which will make it expand.. your pritty fecked anyways, takes ages to sort that out... Problem with moving the TPA is, when you have it in a spot on place.. you dont want to move it..

Agreed. Helps push water away. Hence why my black pads used to work best when it was slightly raining :- Although, it will help push the water out, you can't expect the pads to still work on a normal polished rim when its tipping it down, because of the pad material... On a grind or ceramic rim however, it will work good,, but with a grind or ceramic rim you dont need to cut the slots as they work amazing in the wet anyway.

2 mates of mine run continental vertical pro 2.3 up front, its a light ish tyre about 800 grams mark, but theyve had no problems with it as such.. grip is good because its a 2.3... may be worth the buy..

Its a very good beginner bike, ive only felt the weight of one quciky, id have to say about 12kg though dont quote me on that :- but its a pritty light bike really.

I personally love them, but at the mo ive got alot of flex so its really spongy, but you would think that because you have so much power that you cant modulate your brake very well, its the complete opposite. As its so comfy you can just use it all day without any problems

Nah, dont just get a random one. Carbonique carbon ones are £15, they come with the bolts etc, very good from what ive seen of them. From Tart20's tests, RB are absolutly pants.

They are very good, you just need to control the power, get carbon boosters, V and mag, you will be fine, then that extra power will go to the rim, not the frame. Everyone says bleeding is hard, its real easy!! a little too easy infact :-

type 4 will fit the baracuda slum, ghetto etc

Yeah, there is no point running a drilled rim on the front, theres not a need for a big rim up front at all really

well, ive learned sidehops on a x517, with the right builder and spokes u will be fine infact, you can notice the slightest weight diff up front, def get a 517, but, if not a 519, some peeps use them on rear, so there strong enough, anyways get sapim race for whatever rim, there good spokes, my front rim has taken some shit I can tell you

yeah, but is it just me, or really that isnt as big as some stuff tra has done, if you look its about 50" tops by the look of it, im probs wrong though
