    Rotors

ok, but what about the rockman rotor? What minuses does it have?

    Rotors

Are the rotors with larger holes better than the ones with smaller holes? For example, the avid roundagon and rockman rotor. By saying better I mean "bite and hold" not modulation. Also I would like to know your experience with rockman rotors.
  3. I don't live in GB, I live in Latvia, so I think it wouldn't be cheap to send something form england. But I wanted to know, if I could make a hose myself
  4. While doing footjam tailwhip I messed up my magura hose, that in one point it is about 1-2mm's thin. In my town I can't get a new hose, and I don't want to go anywhere to buy a specific magura hose. I was thinking of making one myself, just buying some plastic pipe (I don't know how to say "a little pipe" in english) and fitting it on my brake. Can I do so and will it not just break? Somewhere in this forum I saw, that someone had made a translucent magura hose, but I couldn't find the topic.
  5. If you're sidehopping on something higher than you bars, then there's a risk of hurting your fingers by missing the wall with the front wheel and squeezing your fingers between the wall and your bars.
  6. Aaaaah, the color of the frame :$ I really like it! How it's called? I want my frame in color like that.
  7. I have KOT forks right now, I don't know if they are good enough to resist a front v-brake. But I don't mind the looks if I don't have to buy a new fork every time I put on v-brakes. Isn't the case with magura the same?
  8. Thanks for the comment I couldn't understand why fork needs a booster untill now. On my way to get it!
  9. no. should I use it?
  10. Last time when I put on front v-brakes I snapped my fork learning to gap to the front. I'm fed up with the disk brakes I'm running, so I am thinking of putting on Vees again. But I don't want to snap my fork again, so could you give some advice on how to gap to the front without putting too much stress on my fork? I just thought to myself about it, and actually I think I understand when the fork gets the biggest stress and when not. So, I think maybe I just need to practise and you won't be giving me some real advice, but I'll appreciate everything you write maybe there are some little things to know which I haven't thought of...
  11. I did this. I had my monty freewheel on my VIZ hub with some shimano cranks. Then I bought a 15T cog and echo cranks, took the freewheel off and put it on the crank That was on a stock bike, by the way, but I can't see it not working on a mod

    Cool Mod Vid

It's a well-known fact, that some russians ar crazy I couldn't trust my bike on something like that
  13. I've been on this forum quite a while, but I still don't understand this - why are flat bars on the market? Everyone says that risers are better, and almost no one rides flat. I use flat bars and haven't ridden other trials bike than my So, what is the difference between riser bars and flat bars, and why do some people use flat (I bought mine, because I thought they look better, I was noob at trials then )?

    New Bars

What about new 09 Rage bars? They aren't narrow (730mm), I'm thinking of riser bars, too, so I'd like to know
  15. I think 14 teeth would be too hard and I haven't seen that someone using this ratio. 15, as I know, is the most popular maybe because it might be the most universal, although 16 could give more power. I really don't know, because I have tried only 18:15. I'd really like to try 16, too, but I don't know when it's going to happen
  16. I really would like to have two bikes but then I would get my inspired only in summer or so, because I don't have money now. I my language there are more commas than I wrote in my text. I know that in english there are less, but I don't know where to put them
  17. I like to do trials stuff, like sidehops, gaps and others, but recently I have understood, that I like to do 180's and 360's, too, and other streety moves. Yeah, I know that there isn't a bike on which you can do all, but I want to know, that if I get the inspired, would I still be able to do sidehops and gaps? I want to do the trials stuff and streety stuff, too. Would it be a lot harder to ride trials on inspired? And how much easier would it be, to ride street on inspired, than my long Zoo pitbull (with 120mm low rise stem and flat bars)? I need you to tell me, the difference between my zoo and inspired. Hope you get what I mean
  18. You stole the song I was going to put in my video maybe. I had several songs, but this one was of the favourites Liked the video, but didn't like that mostly it was filmed in darkness. But I usually don't like, when something is filmed in darkness. Although, this was quite good
  19. 846 you could give some more clues, like if it could be devided by 3, or so
  20. I hate chains, since mine snapped in a drop gap. Don't know when the belt system would be available for everyone, but I'm really waiting for it!
  21. After a quite long time, a video left me with my mouth open
