  1. I'm running an echo 4bolt booster. I don't like that lever goes far (close to the bar), is it possible with 4-finger blade?
  2. Which lever blade is better - the usual magura lever blade or the 4-finger lever blade? The 4-finger blade can give more power, but is it comfortable? And is the power difference noticeable? Tell your opinion about this
  3. If you have vertical dropouts, maybe you could try the quick-release?
  4. I've never thought about breaking my fork, learning front wheel hops (although I can do only 4), but I have broke my fork doing a gap to front. But in my opinion, when doing front wheel hops, the fork can't break. That's only what I am thinking. Maybe no true.

    New Fork

And what is your weight? In KG's please

    New Fork

Hmm, the urban fork would be easier to get and it's also cheaper. But i'm afraid that I could break that, too. My previous fork was echo pure, how would you compare the urban to a pure? Because, when I put on vees, I snapped the fork in second day, actually in the third time I tried to gap to front And this is scaring me, what if I buy a new fork and snap it in the next day, too?

    New Fork

Ok thanks, then I'll go with the trialtech. Do tartybikes give any warranty on the forks?

    New Fork

Why are you so sure about that?

    New Fork

I am going to buy a new fork, but haven't decided which. I searched and came to a conclusion, that one of the best materials for forks are the U6 alloy. So, I looked in tartybikes, and saw that the KOT and GU forks are made of the U6. Also the onza smart guy and viz forks seem to be good. I want to use a front v-brake, so when answering keep that in mind So, which fork could I go for?
  10. Nice as always But too short I'd like to know about your fork, too, because I yesterday put on a front vee and today snapped my fork

    Front Vee

Ok, I'll try to put some more washers behind the pad backing and, yes, I have put on those curved washers and the wheel is set up correctly in the dropouts.

    Front Vee

I bought a zhi v brake adaptor to put it on my echo pure fork, which has magura mounts. So, I put the adaptors on, and was putting one vee arm on, too (shimano deore), but when I tried to put the pad on, it didn't contact the rim the way it should do it. The half of the pad was off the rim. And I couldn't get it to contact the rim normally. Tried to change the holes of the adaptor, but still the pad didn't fit properly. Is the fault in the adaptors, or where? I don't know how can I Put the pad on that it contacs the whole rim, no only a half of it.
  13. The front wheel sh*t is just f*cking amazing!!! How can you get such balance??
  14. I think that you just have to rebleed your brake or you have tightened your lever bolt too much.
  15. Can I get a narrow (not bmx) half-link chain somewhere? Or can I just buy a bmx half-link chain? Has anyone used a bmx chain on narrow (usual) sprockets?
  16. I have looked in some previos topics about weight saving and in one I read about helium. I had thought of it myself and then looked in here, if someone has thought of it, too. Some said, that if you fill your tires with helium you get only about 20 grams, but one rider said, that helium has negative weight molecules (if i remember correctly) and they make helium filled things fly. Not only because helium is lighter than air, but those molecules somehow make things fly. I'd like to hear something about weight saving with helium, if anyone knows something about it or have tried it.
  17. That ''hydroxx'' looks pretty good

    Rear Tube

So, what tubes do you use for the rear? DH or some lighter? Recently I've been having some flats, so i'm thinking of a DH tube maybe. But maybe it's just because my rear tire is quite old. Have you ever flatted your DH tube? The difference in weight between DH and other tubes is noticeable?
  19. I ride VP caged pedals, but next I think I gonna get platform pedals, because my caged ones are too weak.
  20. With two it's quite hard to do two pedal kicks in a row, so I use one.
  21. Just watched it. The video is just awesome!!! Really great! By the way, it is on youtube now. Write in the search - adamant video 4 and it should be there at the bottom.
  22. Nothing special. I was learning front wheel hops. Maybe I screwed the headset too tight. I don't know.
  23. I'm quite tall - 1,88m or so. Which parts would you suggest to change for a better comfort? And what to buy instead?
