    Ymsa 07

Dave, i spoke to you on the phone the other night. I have sent my 1st round entry form + entry fee + membership/licence fee today so should be with you tomorrow. I've written my mob number on the back of the form incase i have got anything wrong lol. see you at the first round, cant wait!!
  2. yeah ive given up trying to figure out whats going on. Not going to buy a biu liscence until everything is sorted for deffinate and everything going on is confirmed. I am deffo riding ymsa (uci) as this is what i want to do most and i love the uci style of riding. I know i can ride ss for that. maybe i should wait. cheers-hugh
  3. cheers ali, ive done a bit of a silly thing really. Got the adamant mod stock frame so i cant run gears and have now found i suit 26" better and want to ride it at brits (if i do is yet to be decided lol) I'm after the limey for a couple of reasons-i wil have the option of gears and i have always wanted one. Ahwell have to see if my bank balance agrees or not, i am loving the adamant t the momet aswell. I dont know what to do lol
  4. Hi guys, has anyone got or ridden the limey 2? Can anyone give me some feedback on it? cheers-Hugh
  5. well i know one thing for sure, i wont be buying my biu liscence until all this is sorted and finalised. Cant wait for the ymsa.
  6. --> QUOTE(joe b @ Feb 26 2007, 08:23 PM) ←That is sexual, mate. It really is seriously, seriously nice . You sure do have a few bob to throw around for these stunt bikes, Hugh, mate . Cheers, Joe. hehe stunt bike lol. Well after i sold my mx bike and kit i had quite a bit of money so i got the 07 monty ti but as you know that didnt work out too good and i was half way through building the 26" when i decided to sell the 20". So i used a bit of dosh from that to finish the 26" off and i like it so much i'm sticking with the bigger bikes.lol
  7. yeah it's good along the coast. the car park will be goon once it dried out a bit, they are constantly delivering rocks down thereto make the sea defences so it's always changing, was a massive pile earlier in the week.-Hugh
  8. I think it looks great, just started using the onzaadn tensile components now i have gone 26" and have found them really good. They have been tested by top riders in the country and the spec is impressive to say the least. I'm the kinda person that thinks i would rather spend the £65 now than spend £30 now and spend £65 2-3months down the line when my headset is nackered and i wished i had bought the expensive one. I think the fact that it has been designed and tested with trials in mind would make me sway to this bit of kit even more. i know you cant really change alot in a headset to make it trials specific but this thing looks mega durable. I think i'll be having one
  9. yeah loving the stock, gona stay with it for rest of year i think. trying to upload more pics as ive got loads but it's playing up. .
  10. Hey guys, took my new 26" out this morning for a play in a carpark with a few rocks in. Was pretty wet and gooey but i got on with it. Not bad considering i have never ridden a 26" before: . . . .
  11. i"m not sure how much effort it would be but a real championship class where single speed 26" bikes could be used for the experts and the masters would be great, obdviously just riding the usual red and yellow routes. Thats just my opinion but i thought that would be a good idea. thanks-hugh
  12. it's under a uci format so single speed is fine, what most run actually. Do the novie route and enjoy yourself! You should do just fine
  13. hey ash, i believe there's gona be elite (yellow) and seeded elite (black)? Just how hard is the elite-size of rocks etc?? I'm not sure if i'll be up to it. I did biu worlds senior in 05 on 20" but had 06 off now back again but on the 26".
  14. tensile for deffinate, got one on my new 26" build and it's mint.
  15. thats where the bearing race wasnt all the way down sitting on the bottom of the steere but after riding it for 5 mins it is right down and all tigthened up etc.
  16. yeah i was gona go for them but i wanted less weight. Was gona buy some american carnon forks and have an engineer near me cut them down and re bond them, still a possibility but those are fine for now
  17. just tapped the tyre with 3 pallets in the wet out of mud with not alot of run up to back wheel! really pleased with it
  18. well i just went for the adamant hub as this is what tartys reccomended, i do think there's alot of choice for free wheels though, so many makes of freewheel about now. Only problem is i cant ride brits on it as you need gears even though you never use them . Just gona concentrate on my UCI stuff for now.(ymsa etc) -hugh
  19. mine nearly touches on my new adamant with the tensile 175mm cranks, there's about a 1/2 mm clearance. Everything is new on it. So as the cranks wear in do you think i will end up tightening the crank bolt and the cranks hitting the magura???? I have a try-all bb in mine, not sure what size as i just asked tartys for a try-all bb as they new what frame/parts i had etc. cheers-Hugh
  20. cheers guys, glad you like it. I have never ridden a 26" before and i just went out in the garden on it, played around for 5mins then tapped that tyre on the pallets (in pic) to back wheel on my 2nd attempt-these things are awesome, dono why i didnt try one earlier. feels really odd having to chuk it firther when i'm hopping about etc. cheers-hugh
  21. Hey guys ive finally finished my 07 adamant build.
