    All In A Week Off....

No your spot on lol, its been a few things over the past 8 months but its time to weighed in I'll just point out that its not my only vehicle and this is just a toy. Couple of pics...
  2. Only just started riding again after 18months off so expect bigger in the summer when the weather's better. Reinis, I know what you mean, I'm not a fan either but I don't think it came out too badly. Cheers for all the comments everyone!
  3. Had a play editing so feedback is more than welcome, cheers... Clicky....
  4. Very good reply, agreed! Try a few different bikes if you can and find out what you feel most comfortable on.
  5. The C2 and the Trials run the same OD on the seal sizes........ The C2, O2, Trials and V2 all have (not exactly but within 0.5mm) the same size pistons!! The pistons are all different and aren't interchangeable but size wise in reality there all aproximately 25mm
  6. She is indeed and she'll be a qualified nurse in 6 months Who needs an Anne Summers uniform eh!
  7. This thread needs livening up a little!!! A few of my ex's..... Sara, ex of 3 years and the only one I have of her now... (and me with a skin head thug look!) Emily, still very good friends! Before a night out in Blackpool One she sent me one night I wasn't at her's.... And Rosie, the latest and still with... On a walk near my house In preston slightly drunk! 8. Nice editing work that Maffoo, the guy at the end's ace! Bet he can ride well once he's back up to speed!
  9. Thats an AWESOME vid well put together etc! What song is it though??
  10. Nice little vid Thinking of riding Manc one morning when there's nobody about, about 4.30 in the morning! Any takers??
  11. DT's or Sapim are good, they do dozens of different ones though. My builds got a 10/10 in MBUK once and they were built on DT Swiss Competition spokes. The triple butted DT's (Alpine) are the strongest in the world but I wouldn't expect many shops to carry them in stock. They cost .65p each in silver only The double butted Competitions are spot on and retail at .85p each for black and .60p each for silver.
  12. James, The Hope C2 uses the same size pistons as the Trials brake and V2 and would be perfectly fine for trials use. Just make sure it all works properly etc and adjusts ok. The C2 is a closed system brake and the only one you can adjust the lever pull, all the other brakes are open system (like on a car, self adjusting) and have a set lever pull. OK so the C2 is an old brake but all parts to rebuild these brakes are still available so I wouldn't be worried about using one, they were a good brake and set up well still are! Alex Dark, If your having trouble with your brake's it's probably worth spending the money to have them set up properly or bled properly, I know it sounds patronising but you probably won't ever get them set up as well as a decent bike shop could. Remember they'll be doing that sort of thing day in day out and should know a few tricks of the trade... The creaking will be down to lack of lubrication on the lever and lack of power I would put down to the pads not being bedded in. If its a new brake they use a special cutting laser on the rotors to give a quicker bedding in time and isn't as necessary to get them caked in mud. If its an older brake or 2nd hand try new pads, cleaning the rotor properly with meths and bedding it in with plenty of mud and water, the more the better. Hope this helps!
  13. Ok so that was a guestimate as I don't carry tape measure round with me but I think I probably could after looking at a tape measure next to my bike..... I can back wheel (pedaling) 50" without tapping and slightly higher manual hopping without tapping.
  14. ToMhIlL131 - I've just built up a Bionic, I didn't want anything too long as I've been riding a planet x for the past lifetime. I stopped riding over a year ago when I was far too busy setting up a shop but now i've more time I'm trying to get back to the level I was at. Coming along quickly I've been out with Rossi and Matt Arkwright a couple of times now... Confidence is the main thing that I was lacking, the skill side of things were still there but adjusting to a new bike added to the learning again. I've got a lot of confidence back now already and am nailing 8 foot gaps down to wobbley rocks DOB_adam - I can do most stuff but tap, never done it before in all my 8 years of riding. I can now tap a 4' wall with ease after a few hours of practise though. Its just getting used to different techniques. Trick wise I can pretty much do anything as where I grew up riding there's a lot of nothing so thats all I messed about doing. One thing you'll slate me for is riding without a helmet, this is one thing I am doing now and will do everytime I ride! I don't condone my previous bad behaviour Cheers for the welcome anyway guys! You'll hopefully see more of me as the months pass!
