hi guys. Im looking to shed some fat from my ragley to make it a bit more hill friendly. Hopefully going for the slx chainset after christmas to save a few g's, but my rear wheel is on the porky side. Its a mavic 729 on a 12/10mm (tapered) hope bulb hub with Dt swiss alpine 3 spokes. As you can imagine its big, burley but amazingly strong. Im looking for something a little lighter for am riding but still strong enough to take some punishment. What can you guys think of as an alternative? Any ideas on what mine would be worth if i sold it? Its in literally mint condition and true as a die. Cheers max

your frame will only take one or the other. What frame is it?

Make sure you have at least 1cm of room between the top of the steerer and the top of the stem before tightening. Might be the "wedge".

superstar are great. Never had a problem buying stuff from there. But as said probably not the best for a magura if you want a fast acting brake.

Awesome seen this before. Have to take my hat off to him, having been on a '98 techno all last year and found that hard enough compared to a new bke. There okay when you get used to them. Good rider, but i know people who can ride like that at club level. Just shows how far the world of trials has come in 16 years!

i will be 27, hopefully a geologist of some sort. Hopefully working somewhere decent like canada, new zeland, scotland, iceland, norway.......... Cornwall but hopefully not the last one. Riding bikes for sure. Probably more mototrials. Taken my bike test. Ridden in at least one scottish six day trial. Be chilled. Not get to carried away with spending on my bikes. Not murdered my geography teachers.... Unlikely.
