  1. Oops, thought i read Echo SL's.
  2. If your rim is square and your frame mounts are lined up right, then the Try-all ones are spot on as they dont need to use 'c' washers. They also have alot more liner adjustment than other clamps. Having said that, i voted for the echo's as they work the best all bikes In terms of boosters, on the Speedrace my trialtech carbon gave me signifcantly better braking performance than a big 2-bolt cnc'd alloy one that was on there before.
  3. My Rockman is 8.66 measured on digital Park tool bike scales. And thats with a frame 200g lighter than the pure, and with forks a fair chunk lighter than Jake's trialtechs
  4. I can't. I've been riding bikes for over 9 years, trials for 3 1/2 - still can't manual
  5. that was on a floor scale though. Seriously it is almost impossible to get an accurate reading of those. Get it hung off a proper bike scale and really prove your '8.2kg' pure
  6. Badminton is above the M4 and therefore cannot be referred to as 'southern' But in reply to your topic, i highly doubt it.
  7. Thats why i was surprised no the see the No-War (no warranty) sticker
  8. That's actually quite impressive seeing as they're from Try-All
  9. Yeah, i remember Drie's being over 1090 Anyway, long and low is the general jist
  10. I was thinking this too, but that would only make them viable for one frame, a Rockman!

    Van Crawl

Great video with good riding and editing. But definitly would'nt have chosen north somerset as a road trip. There really isn't much to ride up that way
  12. Article said the stock was sold out within hours. Wonder if Tarty got hold of any...
  13. Yeh, i'm on Try-all single cages and love em. It always seems the extra cage on the doubles doesn't allow your foot to 'sink' into the pedal properly
  14. Is it these you've bought? http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/caged_pedals/trialtech_race_vp/c149p10444.html If so Double cage pedals, in my experience offer very little grip indeed.
  15. You really can't compare the likes of Rockman and Try-all with inspired though. They cater for completely different sections of the market. They are competition orientated bikes, where seemingly 'crazy' geometry IS what is best in cometition scenario. Ask a comp rider what bike they would most like and you can be damn sure an Inspired would be fairly near the bottom of their wish list and visa versa. Inspired bikes are great for what they are designed for. Yes, they are much tougher than comp bikes and will outlast them every time but they are not made for the same thing. Inspired's are made to take a beating, be thrown about, endure bails and generally get abused. You seem to be forgetting that this is not the way a competition 'bred' bike is made to be treated. Don't like it? don't buy it. But don't go hating and calling it 'shit for morons' just because its not what you like.
  16. I was thinking that too, kinda ruined what could have been an amazing video
  17. I re-bleed by brakes roughly every 3-4 months out of rutine. Every time I bleed them I bleed once through with oil to re-lubricate the seals and sort of 'bathe' the system and then bleed through with water again. My brakes are always spot on
