  2. Thanks for the replies but need to know whats the best freewheel for my style of riding (gaps and hops, i put alot of strain on it so need a good strong one)
  3. Hi ive got the same problem, ive got a tensile and it skipped, untill it exploded the other day. And now it wont come off the crank arm so im stuck with a broken, mashed up freewheel. I had a look inside and it was destroyed. My mates one did the same, he re-sharpened his and it now doing it again. Also i know other peopl which have had problems with tensiles. I wound not recommend one. Im maybe going to get an echo sl freewheel and so how that lasts. James

Need a disc one if i get one. Whats the best free hub to get thats disc? Again i want a decent strong one! Not fused how much they are just need a rally good strong one! Cheers James
  5. Hi mate, if you've got the money id get the try all forxx, dunno where you get the black ones from but they are nearly as lite at the sl's and many top riders have them. Ive got some rage bars and wound recomend them alot, they make you ride so much better! James

  8. Hi, Tibbs cycles in canterbury do a heat treated half link, the man said that if it breaks he will buy a new one for me. So i recomend going there or phoning them up, say that it is going to be used for trials and you need a strong one and they will know which one it is, the chain is £35. Regards James
  9. Hello peeps. As the title says there will be a ride on Saturday 9th May in Hearn Bay. It would be great if we could get as many riders as we could to come. We will be at or around the clocktower on the seafront from 10:30 onwards. Please come if you can make it. Regards James
  10. The ride went really well. The weather was great with sun and we had a great day. Although we had a chain tensioner brake and a puncher, it went well. Thanks to all that came. James
  11. Hi, depends on how much you want to really. I started off with an Onza Blade which i bought in February for £440 if im right. I love this bike and i feel that it is a really good bike to start off with. It is quite light and it rides very nice. I would also recomend the Onza Pro duel disc which my friend has and the also is very nice and a bit cheaper. Good luck with getting a bike. Regards James
  12. We have now decided to meet at the top of town by Cycle's UK bike shop.
  13. Hello, me and a couple of mates are going to ride Canterbury on the 25/4/2009. If anybody wants to come, you are very welcome. If you want to come, shall we say meet at west gate towers at the bottom of town at 11:00. If we have already moved on we will probably be at the Marlowe theatre or by Wilkinson's. Look forward to seeing anyone that wants to come. Regards James
  14. Hi, I have a couple. One was riding through the center of town when my trousers got wrapped around the freewheel and i could get them out for like five minutes. I ended up ripping them off. The second was i went to blunt up four pallets and i drove the front wheel straight into the pallets and went over the handlebars. The third one was when i went to drop off 10 pallets but bailed at the last second and jumped over my bike and the bike did a couple of flips. Had a laugh do them though. James
  15. Hi, can anyone help me learn how to do a front to back? I sort of get what to do but am struggling. Thanks James
  16. Hi, doing waits wont help that much but i found the longer you are on the bike and practising, the better you will get and you will improve. Also trials is alot about your technique and skill. Hope this helps you. Regards James
  17. Thanks for the replys and some great answers. James J
  18. Hi. i got a blade a month and a bit ago as my first bike and i think its a great. Its really nice to ride and is quite lite. I would get a new set of pads for the rear and maybe a brake booster and over time upgrade the front to a hope or bb5/7. I would highly recomend it as a first bike as i love mine and im always on it. Regards James
  19. New ride hope you like it, rides mint, hopefully might be able to keep with stock this time for a change. Still got my blade too. Wow, i do like. The gu is my favourite bike although i would prefer a 20" one and black. How well does the magura work on the front rim as i have the same rim on my Onza blade? Regards James

  22. Hi, for motorbike trials you will definatly need one, not sure about bicycle trials though. Hope this helps you. Regards james
  23. Hi, yes you can take it on the train, There is usually a place for them if not you cant put them in the disabled area if it is not being used. And if you cant put it there you can just stick it by the doors but you have to move them when the train stops depending on which side the platform is on. This is what i do and i live in Kent but you may have to check if youre using another train company. Regards James.
  24. Hi i would recommend the Onza Blade. I got one a couple of months ago and i think its great. It rides nice and look cool too. Regards James
