  1. Cheers for the replies guys. Just bought this from the forum so will suck if it's too knackered to use Worth trying a bigger (?) chain? What do you recommend?
  2. So many sweet lines. Can he get much better?!
  3. If your learning back hops, do an endo then as the back wheel comes down use the momentum to bring the front wheel up. Medium power really, too limp and you probably won't hold it, too harsh and you'll be jumping off the back as the bike shoots out in front off you. If you do it slower, it's smoother but harder to control.
  4. Fingers for braking. Awesome, it would kill me riding in that heat! You want the gearing low enough to be able to bring the front wheel up but high enough to give you some kick. I'm sure someone will follow on telling you the 'best' gear ratio.
  5. Where are you from? I started with 2 then changed to 1, much better. Try actually hopping back. Pull back so much you will fall off, but instead of stepping down, bring the back wheel underneath you to centre your balance and repeat. When you have nailed this, then learn to do it on the spot. After that, forwards
  6. Haha wheeeeyyy! That's a fig?! Was quite nice actually!
  7. I'll double check the chain line, may well be off. Photo as requested -
  8. This Some random guy in Turkey picked it from a tree and gave it to me. So I ate it.
  9. So sounds like it could be ruined? Here's a clip to show what it's like.. Trials-Forum Video -> Full View • Download • Upload
  10. That was actually the first thing I thought of when I saw topic title. Terrible!
  11. I went from a FSA to a Hope. Doesn't feel much different but looks pretty damn pimp.
  12. One disc was fine for me, the one that came with the grinder. There are loads or technique videos but I don't see why, it's not that hard! Maybe practice on a spare rim first if you have one. For deeper grinds you want a bigger angle, say 45+, and for shallower grinds, a smaller angle. Don't try and grind it all in one go and don't go over the same spot repeatedly. Have fun, and be careful. Goggles might be a good idea if you can get any.
  13. Hope you enjoy it and keep to it. This might help Link
  14. I was pleasantly suprised
  15. The sprockets attatched to the bash so can't replace, and yes, very worn! I tried riding and it snapped my tensioner spring I had to ride so put the old bash on. Will let the chain stretch for a week then try again. Thanks for the replies guys, much appreciated Will update next week.
  16. Very controlled and nice style. One of the first 20" vids I've actually liked.
  17. £15 from B&Q, comes with a decent disc. If you buy the disc separately, you want a metal cutting disc.
  18. Better bite and hold. Which gives you more confidence. Well it do for me anyway.
  19. I bought a Middleburn Super Pro bashring to replace my standard lump only to find the chain not running smoothly. Seems to either run over the teeth or catch in and get stuck. The chains a new Trialtech lite (3/32), been used 3 or 4 times. Solutions? Cheers.
  20. Link Check that ^ And practice, practice, practice. Doing backhops - When your going off course try and pull the rear wheel underneath you to keep you over the balance point. And more practice, you'll get it
  21. Anything, no idea what it's worth! That's why I put it on ebay not here.

  22. Anyone about on Sunday? Might be able to make Saturday.
