  2. I have been following these updates on Facebook but nice to see them on the forum and people picking your brains a little Mike. I think it's nice to some negative/positive towards these ideas. The disc only drawing looks great. Something I could see myself buying.

I seem to remember Crewkers making a bike with a similar geo idea which caught my attention as at the time the people who used to troll the forum with "they don't make strong frames with a shorter lower geo anymore" had exactly that on sale at Tartybikes. I am sure it was 1065/1070 with a 40mm bb.  Someone with more info will correct me but I imagine it wasn't the best seller due to the fact you can't buy them anymore.

What realistically is the market for these with that in mind or would you be willing to make a geometry in these frames that could appeal more to the riders of 2018. I personally like the idea of 1065 and low bottom bracket but a longer headtube and steeper head angle could make this project rival the currently sold out hex.

Thinking of treating myself to a Silex V2 this xmas.

    Geo seems nice and streety.

Could hardly find anything about them on here via the search.

Short answer to your question any good? Yes.

TMS used to be a little more popular in the UK a few years back when you could buy them via Tartybikes. It's only just actually this last year you have been able to buy some street parts and now frames via Tarty hence not many UK riders giving them a try/ not much details on this forum regarding these.

I rode the V1 Silex and loved it. The new paint looks great and addition's like the headtube and rear brake gusset are nice to see.

Yep, add Harden moor and Shipley Glen to the first comment and that wraps it up.

He grew up at the bottom of the hill from the woods in Skipton. We used to ride down that as kids what he's managed to ride up (diagonally).

Every time I go to ride Harden moor I have to question if the kickers are from the moto trials that happen there or Chris. Non the less that kicker up that he casually floats is serious business.

  5. I sucks to read that you're unhappy with the outcome when it's so ruddy awesome!

So good to see the lines you create at spots you've used in previous edits as well as all the new locations in this.

Proper casual drop gap at (I think) Newcastle from an old Brett Penfold video.

  6. Hey guys,

Local ish. I rode Leeds a few weeks ago now with Guillermo. It's probably best you're new riders as it's quite depressing that some of the older spots we used y spend hours on are no longer. I kept striking unlucky and taking us to spots that was either gone or some kind of event was happening haha!

I'm keen for a ride in September sometime I'm just waiting for an ankle injury to sort itself out so mid September a group ride would be awesome.

There's a few riders around the Lancashire area all mixed level and style that travel around for the odd group ride.

Dont worry about your level or style it's all about coming and riding with a smile.
