  1. Oh, I am sorry if that's what it looks like =/ I wasn't meant to. I have really been considering everyone who's posted here's advice to help me decide what to do. I'll have a look at some second hand bits but i'm surely better off spending the extra £20 or what ever and get bits new so i'm sure they work? Thanks.
  2. +1 Just splash out an extra tener and get a bike twice as good as that! http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...;category_id=10
  3. No mate i'm not, I just did really like the look of it. And it is true, i know i'll have to buy better bits in the future, but that's what i planned to do anyway. Work my way up. Cheers.
  4. Aww you gotta feel sorry for the poor guy And wow, that Fujigas guy was awesome!
  5. Oh it's a mod, pretty nice looking actually mate even though I don't much like the T-bird, that doesn't look bad. Got the same tyres as me too
  6. Not sure about £200 mate, but if you can get a little more cash then I think this would be a good option for you: http://tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?produc...;category_id=10
  7. Hmm I don't think you'll get a 24" for under £400 or £500 mate. How tall are you? If you are under six foot i would reccomend starting on a mod (20" wheel bike) Though I don't know much ..so other members on here might be able to give you some better guidance
  8. Hello mate, welcome to the forum Post some pictures of your bike, i've never heard of it.
  9. Oh nice. It's a shame you live so darn far away. I never really try to anyway, but when I do try and find someone to have a bash with there is no one.
  10. Balance much? Loved the part when you just rolled along the fence no wider than the the width of your tyre's. Absolutely amazing video, suprided you don't ride much better quality bikes?
  11. Amazing riding like always from Danny. Please tell me how he fakies on the back wheel
  12. Hmm, but Tom has the Echo freehub and I do really like the look and sound, and to be honest, I don't think I will break it seeing as the biggest thing I do is hop about 4 stairs . The price tag is really appealing too and I like the sound they make so I'm going to order one and then decide what to spend the rest of my money on (I've got about £150 now by the way). I'll probably just buy some nice foam grips and some good pads though, maybe HS33's for the back.
  13. Hello there mate. I own a Team Losi LST2, i've had it 2 years now and before I had I had an HPI Rush Evo. I really enjoy jumping it as it is a monster truck. What do you own?
  14. Yeah, A guy at OwensCycles (Bike shop in Petersfield) who rides trials and he said to me he could grind my rim. And is it worth getting new pads already? Because mine are hardly worn and seem to be working pretty well atm. I also don't think i need bars or a stem because like other people said , I think i'll stick with heavier parts while i'm a beginner. I could get some new forks, I really like the look of some but I'd rather spend the £80 I would spend on a pair of them on a hub and a rim like I wanted to in the first place. Also Sam said to me it's a much better idea to go FFW but i'm not keen on the idea of replacing my cranks, bottom bracket, freewheel and hub, and the Echo freehub i want to get is on Tartybikes at half-price so I think i'll buy it. Cheers for the massive help!
  15. I don't think they are any 20" (Mod) bikes with seats, apart from 4 year old Onza's. But I think most 24" bikes and a few 26" (Stock) bikes come with little seats too. Have a look on this site: http://www.Tartybikes.co.uk
  16. Thankyou for the help mate, like I said before though, never been too kean on the FFW idea. By the way, off-topic but do you remember me from that ride in Cosham? (I was the guy on the bird obviously, Tom's mate )
  17. Not to keen on buying new forks, don't see any point in it really. What is it going to do, save 30g? I would just love for there to be a hub that is in between an Echo and a Profile, costs around £80, is quite loud and is decently made.
  18. What's wrong with your XC? James (Tom's mate )
  19. Hmm, but they are £140 and I was wondering what things i can buy with £100. Cheeers for the heads up
  20. Thankyou mate, that's a great help! Sounds like a really good order to get things in thinking about it now. And one more thing, i don't want to go FFW and you said a *decent* free-hub, What would you say is a good free-hub, something like an echo (£56.27) on Tarty, or would i have to spend more? Thanks
  21. All round awesome looking bike. I've always thought those frames looked immense.
  22. The bike cape with Crawlers on it And should i get foam grips, would you reccomend them? Because i have callisters and blisters all over my hands. And i'm not sure if i do but i've heard someone before say to get better cranks, could you have a look and tell me which ones would be adequate? Cheers,
  23. Hey there, Well I want to spend just £100 of the £300 birthday money i got aswell as my bike. I've had it for only about 3 weeks but I feel i need to change something already. I already made a thread about which wheels should I buy, and everyone said that I shouldn't buy wheels altogether. So I thought maybe: New forks/breaks/grips/levers? Cheers,
  24. You could find another farm yard?
