  1. Well it doesn't look fantastic in black, you might want to spray it after buying it. But I wouldn't really be sure about buying it for that price seeing as I don't know how much they are new?
  2. I hope so What do you ride then?
  3. What bike do you ride? Onza Bird '09 How long *have* you been doing trials? A Month What is your biggest flat to flat? 4 ft What is your biggest sidehop? 2 ft What is your biggest drop? 3 ft natty or street? Street Where is your favourite place to ride? Portsmouth
  4. Hey there, Welcome to the forum mate, i'm also new here And I have a friend called Forest who I know does trials and who also lives near Inverness. Could try to hook you two up if you like?
  5. Oh right that's cool mate, what part of Denmead, or what road do you live down, i might know it? And yeah, that is probably a better idea. I was planning on showing up with one of my mates at that DJ memorial ride in Pompey on the 17th May.
  6. Me and mate who are both very new to Trials would be able to make it , If we are welcome?
  7. Hey there, i've recently bought an Onza Bird '09 model off of Tartybikes and have been riding for just over 2 weeks. I've already picked up quite a few little things from my friend Tom who also rides a mod, an Onza T-Pro. I am from a village called Horndean which is about 15 - 20 mins from Pompey, and was wondering does anyone else on here live within riding distance of me, Eg: area's like Waterlooville, Denmead, Clanfield and Cowplain? I would really like to meet a whole bunch of riders and hopefully learn some new stuff! Thankyou, James
  8. That's a very clean looking bike, and those specs sound pretty good to me also. May i ask how much you paid for it?
  9. Hey there mate, welcome. I'm pretty new here too. What bike do you ride? (If any)
  10. The V brake that comes with the Onza Bird works perfectly good enough for anyone to be able to backhop.
  11. Yeah, i agree with what Jake said, although it does also depend on the size of you, are you a tall guy? If so maybe a 26" is the way to go (There aren't many 24" riders that i know of)
  12. I'm not sure because I've only had mine for a couple of weeks, but i've had no problems so far. And i've heard from other's it's a pretty reliable bike for beginners who don't have a big bag of tricks.
  13. Hey mate, if you can get £350 then that's perfect as the Onza Bird (Like I have ) on Tartybikes costs £360. I think it is well worth the money, it comes with a 19" rear wheel and front disc brake which is actually working great for me atm. They also look quite nice in black, and come with nice fat Maxxis Creepy crawlers.
  14. Bought new from Tarty bikes for £360. It suits me great as a beginners bike
  15. Wow, great video! Very good sidehopping, i just can't get the balance standing still on the back wheel before i try and hop up. Teach me how!
  16. Very sweet and clean looking bike. Loving the gold rims and hubs, what is the make of your rear hub?
  17. Hey I'm James, I'm new to the forum and I ride a black Onza Bird 09. I've only been riding trials for about 2 weeks but I love it already. I ride around Horndean mostly as that is where I live, but so far I have also travelled to; Cowplain, Waterlooville, Portsmouth, Havant, Cosham and Portsolent. I can't do much stuff yet, but I really enjoy riding random walls I find while i'm out riding on the street. My other Hobbies are; Football, Swimming, Rugby and I play quite alot of Xbox live too. Thanks, James.
