  4. Looks good mate however ditch the bashplate if you allready have a ring
  5. it wont rust it because there is a plastic tube inside the stainless steel braid
  6. use the search function and you will find out. The main reason is they are completely unreliable and only the lucky ones get what they ordered
  7. check the pad reviews section
  8. i will consider it in my options anyone else had any dealings with halflins
  9. yeah im really sceptical with half link chains but i would think a single link would be fine
  10. thanks for that sam although tell your mate to get a new chain 4 years is a bit much lol.
  11. Good evening ladies and jelly spoons just a couple of questions 1. Does anyone know of a good strong halflink chain, or does anyone use the single tryall halflink on tarty. How does it hold up. 2. I am looking at the because forks on tarty as they have a vee mount, what are they like for strength etc
  12. Well what do you want to know then.
  13. use tartybikes and you cant go wrong tarty bikes link
  14. Is the performance of the brake any different? if it isn't then it's fine. And as it is a hydraulic brake it is a hose not a cable
  15. no i am driving down mate. does anyone have a postcode i can put in tomtom to get me there
  16. think there is quite a few guys going on sunday
  17. this is not a czar ivan, i can assure you it is a zenith my friend
  18. no problem matey, yeah 3 cross has always served me well and is really easy to build
  19. I have always used 3 cross on both disc and non disc side and never had any problems.
  20. if you have v posts stick with vees, although good pads wont make a good brake you need good cable, lever, and arms as well, what vee do you currently have?
  21. the 2.35 seems to sit better on the rim and is more stable, this is probably just personal preference, but its also lighter.
  22. yes mate 42a, I have used this combination of tyres on mud, gravel, wet grass, pretty much everything and it grips really well, and because they are not very expensive, when it does wear down they can be replaced easily, I really do love my rear tyre, never had a pinch flat. just make sure you get the dual ply as I have tried the single ply on the rear and it just folds under pressure. oh and i would recommend the 2.35 instead of the 2.50
  23. if you want the ultimate setup, I would go for monty on the rear, try all on the front and a set of trialtech bars. i have a cheap set of czar risers for sale so you could try risers before committing 50 quid to a new set.
