Im absolutely loving trials atm its kinda taken over the enjoyment of BMX for now because Im finding big stuff easier, I got front touches tasty and I can up high and sidehop over large rails etc all good :lol:

If you get a JAP one it may be region free-ish, nobody really knows yet, Sony said it was region free, the Sony rep that comes to our store said it definately locked but the publishers of the games have the choice to do it or not. Movies are all region locked as usual. Games, maybe no real answer yet until the UK games come out.

My blue ones (with the new backings) were not overly great braking-wise on my setup and the pads were so soft you could move the wheel and see that actual pad meterial bend, this resulted in it wearing the back at a curve and ripping bits out. BUT The rimjam greens are harder and the pads seem of great quality all round, nice feel, wear nicely, brake nicely and generallly im happy all round :- I run a normal unground rim with a bit of tar, I'd say greens are a good choice for this kind of setup. Could it not have been down to magnetisation and it pulling stuff out of place?

Theres some wierd techniques used on videos by various riders at getting up stuff. Theres like standard rolling along lean back and bunnyhop, theres rolling pedal ups with no taps, rolling pedals ups with taps but you finish the pedal as your front wheel has just hit the wall and a wierd one I saw Phil do where you kinda pedal your front wheel up roll a bit tap and bunnyhop up (Y) wierd mix of all three. I find bunnyhopping easier with a loose break, as far as I remeber Craig and Neil both have loose levers so when you pull back on your bars your fingure doesn't pull the brake that little bit. I used to have my brakes like that and bunnyhop well but I now run tighter brakes that lock up really well, so when I pull back sometimes the force taps my finger onto my brake the tinyest bit and it locks the wheel and throws you off the technique. Each to their own though... see what works best for you.

If its what I think your thinking of its where you freeze say your mind and body etc so you can then be woken up and mind and body-wise you'll have missed a big section of time. Reading that back that sounds more like cryogenically freezing yourself but its got something to do with that, maybe.

Damnit.. if its a Saturday it'll look pretty unlikely for me. We could always split the ride, some ride sunday some ride saturday. Righto, I just had a pretty good ride with just 2 people in Cambridge yesterday so if a few more people would like to come down on sunday it should be pretty good (Y) So far Jamie, Wing, Simon (Depending on if his heatsinks arrive) and myself will be riding. We usually meet at the station at 11:00am ride station road abit then move around a few usual spots, Lion Yard which is pretty damned mint is now suprising pretty security guard free so thats a bonus we never had before (Y) Anyways this sunday, post if you wanna make an appearance. Yup not bad, Some of the riding was damned impressive, other parts looked pretty standard, good video on the whole though (Y) Your brakes all sound like they work so well though (Y)

I bought that WTP Thrillseeker and loved it, great bike perfect setup for a trials rider getting into BMX since it can withstand punishment is a nice ride and has alot of great parts. I've ridden both the Fubar (briefly) and Thrillseeker and the look and standard of the parts overall on the Thrillseeker seemed better to me, nice bike :angry: I've got my month old one for sale if you want to save a bit off the RRP, mint cond oviously with a brand new KHE freewheel which runs nicer and soft compound rear pads (Y) I bought a new pro spec setup as I had the money and opertunity to do so at the time, hense the reason for sale not fussed either way great second bike for me :o PM if your intrested. Word. Thats basically it, it doesn't matter if its good or not the thing will sell because Sony make it. Who will buy it? The same morons that have bought 6 different PS2's after disk read errors or the shed load of other problems that they have, maybe they wanted a silver one, maybe they wanted a smaller one it all the same. I've used the PSP quite a bit and overall I think its pretty average and not really worth the money, unless you hack and crack the shit of it so it plays SNES games that are actually worth playing :P The videos and pictures that you can have on it, dont really need to be used on the move so you can just use you PC. The MP3 functions are ok but hey I've got a mini one thats 10x smaller and last's way longer. The games on it are pretty standard, why play it on the move when you can play a much better version of the same sony branded trash on your PS2 at home on a massive TV? The UMD films again, pretty pointless get the DVD and watch it on a bigger screen in the comfort of you own room or whatever. I got my DS a little before you got that, I still love my DS the longer its out the greater the games are :P Just imported Meteos and Kirby and the both mint, it offers something totally different from other consoles and thats what makes it apealing and practicle in a handheld. Theres not masses of great DS games out yet, unfortunately re-hashs and PS2 style ports dont work well AT ALL NFSU2 etc there all dire but the DS unique games are a blast and are refreshing to play :) Olly.
