I think the key's in the subtitle "Top-Notch Riders" B) Nice pics though Julien, you make Wing look good, that takes some serious talent. Olly.

Thats bullshit B) Honestly though it actually gets to me when people think that, I ride mod and its pretty much the same as stock, I've rode a stock bike for 3 minutes and automatically learnt to tap alot higher than I can comfortably do on my mod however much I practice, Sidehops are piss aswell on these new long and low bikes just gotta watch the mech. Alot of good mod riders can ride stock just as good, CLS, Benito, Staples, and a few others. Its not just its smaller and probably lighter therefore easier, its just not. Even if that was sarcastic I still felt like putting that out.

I voted to have a bash gaurd, at the time of posting its exactly 50/50. Which would suggest one of each would be the best option.

I'll second that, Im a mod there and its out of hand sometimes, the site ideas great and people seem to like it but it would be nicer if people spoke proper english on there instead of like "swidop ov't wol int mans" and stuff. I usually remove broken images and double posts etc to try keep it clean. It does eat alot of Jamie's (webmaster) bandwidth having the site running though so too much usuage might send it the same way trials-shack went (Y) Nice site though :( Olly.

I got it too, Pretty Mint DVD, £3.99 for the mag DVD and that extra thing I've yet to check is great

He isn't half right with that, The XTP guy is mad, I miss bunnyhopping high and stuff so bad, Im definately getting a Team or something intstead of a Python next time round, best of both worlds (Y) Great Video everyone with the time and space should get it!

haha, of course there not filming a new bail it'd be like: "right, so thats the bench you did it on... go get your bike and do it again" :)
-
Looks like the "Bike Flip" to me, I thought only one guy could do it? and that didn't look like the guy I saw doing it last time.

The PSP is limited on what kind of games it plays to some extent, If your into driving games this will most likely be its most successful genre as its easy to make them look shiney and add loads of cars and levels. With FPS's the PSP will probably struggle, so far theres one Coded Arms and although it looks nice the controls is where it strugles as the PSP doesn't have 2 analogue sticks therefore making it tricky to aim shoot and walk etc. Also the ammount of things going on in games like Half Life 2 the PSP wouldn't be able to handle it so the end result would not be good, even if attempted the battery life would suffer something cronic. Fact is you probably wont trust yourself with a PSP outside, if your looking to buy FPS's and stuff then stick to PS2 or better.. PC.

You've gotta love that feeling :'( It was like, right massive bunnyhop to rail, is my headtube going to tear off mid-air or on landing... Yea Im happy your happy, my bikes were feeling pants yesterday, now I've moved the bars on my BMX forward the whole bike feels better and my front disk is finally working again on my trials bike so I can do some mad front wheel gaps ;) BUT we all know Monty Risers are where its at for mod bars :D" Olly.

hehe I was there when Wayne did that, a few feet away. Right at the start of the ride he's trying that theres only like 6 of us all day and he's doing it a few times lots of people watching from above and just ends up rag dollin' himself we all just pause for a second, walk over as he checks his helmet out saying something like "Least 'elmets not fooked" and continues riding madly through the rest of the day :'( True nutter..

Pretty much everything you seem to buy turns out to be this way ;) You get something and suddenly its gods gift to trials/bmx and everyone must own it. The day I got my Python I thought it was pretty bad, for weeks I still thought it was pretty bad, then it kinda grew on me and I can appreciate why people might find them very nice, they really can improve your riding and are as strong as anything I've ever seen. When a few more people get them and I see what there like strenght-wise and stuff It may be an option for my next frame if I ever need one, I am glad that its got standard headtube now, I hated the T-Pro ones felt unsafe to me, now you can pimp them with King's and Hope's its all good :'( Like to see what non-sham setups look like with that frame :P Nice to see Onza/Zona bringing that kinda of spec frame to the masses though, frames like the Python's and Rex's etc really do improve riding and riders greatly I believe which is a good thing :D Olly.

If you have to money go for V12's for sure, I've had copies and V8's and the DMR V12's are just so worth it, sealed bearings are lovely and all round there just mint pedals.

No, well not without serious cut and shut bodges, so lets just say no. The chain is this beefy: If your a mod rider basically you should be riding a collapse chain :- If you ride stock single speed and it doesn't rub or anything get one too (N) If you run gears stick with a Kool its your best option.
-
Mines a third hand Python '04 early model, I ride it hard, other before me looked to ride it hard :- But I still see no signs whatsoever of breaking, they are pretty indestructible frames if you ride one and like the feel and have the cash theres NO reason not to get one. Olly

Exactly what me and Josh were talking about the other day, he says he feels almost embarrased when he says he's going for a ride on his bmx to his girlfriend. Most cycling sports are pretty intense and physical sports so how they can be deemed childish over football where you just kick a ball around is wierd, Im never fussed about riding or seeming childish, I just do what I love to do whatever the age.

He isn't 32 Joe! is he :- He cant be hes like... 20 somthing.. Must be.. Steves great aswell though, top guy :P

The price brackets should change, everyones bike cost's pretty much over a grand. Should be like -£749, £750-£1000, £1001-£1500, £1500+ or something..
-
I ride Trials and since recently BMX, both have the good days and bad days with me, but it wouldn't feel right without trials in my life, at the end of the day trials something pretty special to me.

Yup what he said, I have a snapped £5 chain tool, that is also handly threaded on the bit that requires force to put chains on, taking a link out when the chain is off my bike on a nice flat surface is just about do-able split link in jobs a good'un. It doesn't fit the chain if it wasn't broken because the chains too wide, all the spacers are snapped so theres only the end block to push against making it impossible to fit a chain even slightly together, let alone safely.
-
My thoughts exactly, how much pressure is on your chain right at those points, I know for a fact if I leant that much into a gap theres no boubt my chain would explode and shortly after... my head on the pavement.
-
I dont have a chain tool to put the chain on properly if your read my previous post you'll see, I then would get a puncture and need to undo it again, then split it and re-join etc for me its easier to put a split link in and usually they suit fine, easy removal when needed and no need for a chain tool. But they dont half go bang :ermm:
-
Yea its a shame to be fair, the chains burly t'fook but chain is only as strong as its weakest link, and thats one weak ass link there :( The KMC Kool splits last 3-4 months which isn't bad, when they go they dont half go though! *rubs knee*
