    Trials Is Life

Top Video man Really enjoyed watching it all Music went really well I thought and I loved seeing all the different bikes and places, also the video worked for me because it's like a normal video where you save the best stuff for last but the whole video is progression, and the mixed old-to-new shots were cool too. Olly.

    Xbox360

Yes, they are region coded meaning they won't work on UK machines or UK games in a US machine etc. All accessories will be fine though so you can pick them up over the no problem. Just so you know PS3, PSP and DS games are all region free
  3. Horrible news again, saw Joe's name on MSN and couldn't believe it yet again I remember seeing you in the early Jonny Jones videos amongst others and always seemed to be messing about and having a laugh, straight away remembered one of your funny bails in the videos, looked like a great character, once again a big loss to our community.. R.I.P. Hobbsie Olly.
  4. I'm up for a ride on any day I'm free, usually work Monday to Wednesday then have football on Sunday but other than that I'm free and should be able to get atleast one other along for a little session too Olly.
  5. Looks like I'm not there.. It's raining where I am already let alone the heavy stuff expected at 1-5pm.. I may see about going in tomorrow though, I know Wing and friend's will still be up for it Olly.
  6. Looks like I should be riding my stock as I seem to have fixed the problem I had now it's just that the front brake is pretty pants.. Olly.
  7. After re-kindling my love for the sport once the football season had finished I decided to splash some cash on repairing and upgrading my mod and while I was at it straight up bought a stock!! - 6 years into my riding days and I finally decide to buy one lol.. Well theres the bikes throw some comments my way if you like Cheers Olly.
  8. Of course I still ride.. I just play football alot too but since the season finished I've rode more and more, went to the US for 3 weeks then got back and raped my tyre's, bought a new set and a new chain then snapped my forks, bought new forks and set those all up and just this week bought an Echo Control to satisfy my tapping need's after riding Wing's Aorta down the skatepark tapping the jump box! I need to sort some problem out with the Control at the moment and if I can I'll probably be riding that, if not then I'll be ripping it up on the Team 11 at the Pool sounds good to me.. Olly.
  9. I can be there and I'm sure Wing and maybe a couple of his friends may be good to go to! What do I ride now.. My mod or my stock
  10. That is Epic Steve!! Great little story and the bike looks sweet too Olly.
  11. This is true, I can tap mods but it does suck and theres next to no point in doing so, I can also hoon some rather large bunny hop's too but generally I do normal pedal up's with a full rotation of the pedals I believe.. Again.. Learn to bunnyhop? I've been riding near enough 6 years.. lol I can bunnyhop just fine as Adam knows my bikes pretty much built for that kind of stuff with strong parts chosen over light parts, high stem with riser bars and tyre's pumped to 45 p.s.i. it's aallll good! I was litterally just talking about upping trials-wise really.. Olly.
  12. Hehe, Quoted for the Truth!! Yea I think I find sidehop's easier on a mod, especially since I sidehop to the mech side of a stock which = not good.. On a sidenote: New tyre's and chain arrived yesterday from yourselves, fixed the bike up, went for a test ride, 2 mins later... snapped my forks!! Olly.
  13. Do you tend to sidehop to your foot if you fail? A number of my friend's have this habbit and find it pretty hard to get out of even though it looks like they'd make it easy if they stayed on the pedals.. Also what are you riding mod/stock and sidehop which way to mech (if on stock) or not? I always found sidehops really easy no matter how hard or high the wall was to do mainly because I didn't really have a fear on them, if you sidehop up and concetrate really hard on getting your front wheel onto the wall then you can just learn from there, if you miss your back wheel it doesn't really matter you just go to crank or your chainstay lightly (hopefully) that way you should be able to be calmer and more composed on the back wheel when needing to pre-load or find your perfect balance point. Here's a clip of me some 3 or so years ago but it's a nice sidehop clip I think: Youtube Video -> Original Video Hope that helps, Olly.
  14. Thought it would be intresting to see if people have the same feelings as me on this one, basically I went for a ride in Cambridge the other day after work with my friend Wing who rides stock, after about 45 mins of riding in true Olly C fashion my tyre pops out of my rim doing a massive tabletop on a jump box rendering my bike un-rideable as the tyre's 2 years+ old (Monty White Line's one) so I'm forced to just about roll around on it.. We get to some fairly big (for us none regulars) concrete pipe things, now I'm pretty sure I'd either find it very hard to up these on my bike or just flat out not be able to up them at all but since my bike was broke and I wanted to try and up them I gave it a go on Wing's stock.. Now bearing in mind I haven't rode stock.. ever and have only had a few plays on peoples bikes over the years I jump onto his bike and attempt to tap this concrete pipe. The first go I kind of miss it a little, second I get it a little closer and third go I pretty much know what I have to do to stick it to back wheel.. A few try's later and I have it to back wheel: It just seemed to me so much easier pedalling your front wheel into the wall to launch myself up there on a stock than trying to pedal up it normally on my mod (which I find too short to tap) does anyone else who doesn't and hasn't rode stock before feel the same way about this? Or people that ride both or have done whats your opinion? Cheers Olly.
  15. Lol, Check this post of yours out from 2006.. Post
  16. Duuuuuude, loved those early Echo Stock frames with the dragon stickers on Remember your frame/setup as one of the best bikes of the time colour scheme-wise and what-not Cresent's were also an early favourate of mine, I got to ride one as Wing who lives near me had one, the frame was so light but kind of had a tinny(?) sound to it... I'll get a few pics up of mine in a sec.. Edit: Da Bomb: Megamo Rookie/Expert: Onza T-Bone Proto Original: Later Onza T-Bone Proto: Olly.
  17. Yea man, The condition of all the threads always were fine, except some problem with the bashplate ones that Sponge had a problem with, the frame's way more dented up than any frame I've owned mine are always really mint hense my evaluation of 'raped' The left chainstay was not me by the way, I sidehop to the right, but damn someone doesn't Glad your liking the frame and finally have your hands on it Olly.
  18. Looks really nice, depending on lenght I'd consider buying one of those if I was after a new frame, only thing is it doesn't look that strong to me, not sure why maybe its the tube shape or something who knows.. Nice ride so far though Olly.
  19. My old lovely lady too!! Haha, Can't believe this beast is still doing the rounds, I asked Adam from TartyBikes AGES ago whether he thought the condition of the frame would stand up to much and he said it might be worth buying as a cheap way of testing the Python for lenght but 'I'd give it maybe 2 months max before that'll go!' ...I ended up getting it anyway and riding it fine for a good 6 months before being pestered to sell it to Sponge (which I didn't really want to do because I thought it was raped enough, lol) Looks like it's still getting some love though, nice to see it about rather than banged up in my shed Edit: Here are the pics from when I had it built up if anyones intrested Olly.

    Janson

Unbelievable.. One of the original legends, spoke to him over the years on MSN and joked about on here too.. it's just crazy to know you won't be seeing his name pop up in posts and threads all over the forum. Another very sad day for the Trials community R.I.P Janson

    Beau

lol, thats a pretty cool story and it sounds like it sums him up pretty well, pretty shocked to read through this thread.. saws Davetrials MSN name last night and thought it was some joke but seeing this in the morning just hit's home, great rider from the pics and videos I've seen and looked to be a good laugh in real life too R.I.P. Beau P.S. Those jeans!
  22. Vimeo? Top video Jonny, love watching your video's as it's usually almost on par with actually being there with you capturing the ride and atmosphere so well That rail line near the start from Porter was pure madness, top riding all round, looked like a great event. Olly.
  23. I'm with Virgin Media too.. Mine appears to be 3000kb/s download and 365kb/s upload
  24. That's the one, I was there for that one, it was like right at the start of the ride as well, after the stack he just got right back up shook himself off and checked his helmet wasn't fooked and got back on with the riding, not sure Wayne would agree that the moment was a classic "fun video" moment though.. Nobody have any of the old TrialsRider.com videos from around the same time as the TrialsKings ones? There was some pretty fun videos in there too Olly.
