    Tyre Slip Help?

I haven't tried it myself but I've heard talcum/baby powder on the tube so it stays put even if the tire slips. May be worth a shot.
  2. Probably Monday or Tuesday when they are all back at work.
  3. Sweet riding, Love the commentary.
  4. Thanks for the help, I'll make sure they have plenty of lube.
  5. Seems like these would be good then http://cgi.ebay.com/2-6000-2RS-RS-Premium-...#ht_2544wt_1167
  6. That was a helpful video. I'm a little confused about the different bearing grades and materials I can get. Can anyone explain how to tell what would be strong enough for a rear hub? For example ABEC rating, ball grade, and Steel/ceramic ball bearings.
  7. Thanks, I will probably use a piece of wood to place the hub on. I am planning on using a vice to press them but another idea would be to use a long bolt and a ratchet with washers like a makeshift headset press.
  8. At the moment it isn't built onto a rim, are they tough enough that I will need to clam it in a vice to get them out?
  9. Looks like I found the bearings it has http://www.skatebearings.com/etoad/index.p...mp;productId=58 But any Tips are appreciated.
  10. Anyone ever replace the sealed cartridges in their hub? One of the bearings in my rear hub is a little shoddy and I was talking to a buddy at his shop and he said he's done it using a vice. I'm running n older 116mm CNC Try-all hub, anyone know what size I'd need and where to get some? Looks like the bearings are marked LDI - 6000RS Found this but not too much info there. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....+bearings\
  11. Seems to have just gone down again, not sure the reason.
  12. Thanks guys, The echo's are no doubt nice but I'm on a budget to finish my build and the rockman looks like it will be just fine for me.
  13. Has anyone used the 72 engagement Rockman freewheel? One of the few available freewheels in my area and I can get a good deal on one, wondering if it is worth it for a novice/intermediate rider.

    Try-all Hub

I bought this hug second hand and I am having a little trouble identifying what model it is. It is a 32h, 116mm spacing, fixed Try-all hub with a threaded cog. Weighs about 250g with bolts and cams. To me it looks like the 135mm Try-all CNC hubs on tarybikes, did they make a 116mm model? Also, does anyone know what spoke length I'd need to lace it to a 26" rear Echo TR rim?
  16. Oh man that guy is ridiculous. Especially asking for advice on a frame and then saying he likes to adapt to how a ridiculous frame rides because it makes it more fun.
  17. I've made a few posts over on PB and after the first page they usually turn into a name calling shit storm.
  18. Anyone still up in the wee hours of the night?
  19. Short of getting a new frame, (no pun intended) A longer stem is one of the few things that will make it feel longer and more comfortable.
  20. http://www.vimeo.com/1765742 love that frame, I believe the bb is +10.
  21. For me OTN has a much more homely feel. There may be way fewer members, but thats what makes it good.

    Forged Cranks

ok I'm sure the Echo CNC is fine, I don't have the money to spend on them right now so I was asking about the forged cranks.

    Forged Cranks

Looks like I''m going to have to, for something as small as cranks shipping doesn't seem too bad.

    Forged Cranks

Thanks guys, It looks like I will probably go with Trialtech and s tensile FW if I can find it here in the US. Edit: I think I've got a TruVativ Hussefelt bb in my current frame and I was wondering if a new bb would be a good idea when I get a new frame.
