i can probably get the bolt out with the mole girps but i still dont see how i can get the broken coil out of my mount? as if i got the bolt out i wouldndt just shove my ti bolts in and tourqe them till they snapped would i?. i need a way of replacing th heliciol . beacuse it didnt work for some reason? to make it clear i snapped the tagg of the bottom of the ciol therfor i cant unsrew it.and if i put anotherbolt in it wou;d snapp again anyone got any ideas how to get the ciol out so i can redo it?

yes almost but i think if i undo the bolts stuck in the heliciol it will undo the bolt but not the heliciol. then what try and drill and re tap it ?

right i got up this morning and after 2 months my monty project frame was finnished ready to build. got most way throught the build and tryed tightening my maggie bolts. the were bottoming out on the frame so i used a bigger spacer . that worked fine on one side but then i realised that the top left mount needed a heliciol . so i drill tapped and inserted the ciol. i came to putting it back together all was fine exept the mount i helicioled but this was stiffer.i took it all apart and threaded a spare bolt into it. it got harder and harder to turn then it snapped. so now ive got half a alloy bolt stuck in a somehow incorrect heliciol.anyone got any ideas on how to get the bolt out. ( theres about 3 mm sticking out) and when i get it out how to correct drill or replace the heliciol. pleese im urgent to ride sometime this week . i havent been riding for 2 months now!!!

lube threads bigger ,hammer ,more leverage,or find someway to bodge your hlafring. hope this helped but things like this are frustraiting. good luck

yeah do you still have the little plastic washer things on the cylinders beacuse if you took the of and havent put them back ont it wont tighten fullly? otherwise you might have to file dow your mounts to make sure it tightens . if none of that works you need a heliciol hope this helped.

sorrt i dont agree with this. one youve got a bird (and it works a dream) but everyone knows birds are fairly shocking unless youve only riddine say 6 months . also your name is onza rip and there shocking too so. change your name and your bike. sorry for snappong out on you . i get cranky when having cracked one frame and spent 1 month encounting spraying my monty frame. and i cant ride it yet

witch moodle is it . try replacing the piston spring and seals . ive got problems getting my hose onto the barbs any tips on this without using a vice and clamp blocs as i have neither

i would get a maggy onza t lite . there better when there coverd in scratches have to cracks and a fair few dents. wanna buy myne? jokes onza t lites a fairly shocking as it is not matter about them being abussed for 6 years

ive got a simple sollution . get validated . and try buy both on a extreemly low budget. always go cheep and cheerfull on your first bike!

have you tried just simply lubing the calbe lever and inside of the caliper? i had a saracend mad 2 zero the only mod they saracen made. i had dual v brakes at first they sucked, so i bedded them and bough aztec pads for them . then they were good untill i smashed the old tektro levers so i bought a pair of tektro blue levers the hold was amazing but that bikes long gone . stick to hydrolics i say!

hi im zac im 14 live in devon and ride a onza t lite i have been riding since aprill but have had brake problems ever since , ive learnt to pedal kick and am just starting on side hops. im not sure weather my bikes stable enough to take another 6 ft dop as ive already snapped a chain tug and a wheel bolt. tommorow i will upload a picture of what i ride and give a full spec I have just bought a 05 monty 221 ti frame which i am curently respraying , its going well i have decided on a balck/chrome fade but still need to do a few layers of black, i will upload pictures as soon as its finished. hoping to be able to post on otehr forums soon oh and sorry if i spelt something wrong i just cant find the spell check cheers zac
