Just bought a 1.8t passat on the cheap, 97k but hasnt got any proof of a cambelt change, Shall i change it straight away? The auxiliary belt looks in really good condition and definitely changed but hey ho that means nothing! Any way too tell if it needs changing visually?

Looking at a 1.8t passat, 130k on the clock with full service history, How long should i expect on the average lifespan of the turbo? My mate had a bad experience with turbos and don't wanna follow suit!

SSSOO yeah, Went in at 9am, Sat in the tea room untill 11:45ish, Went in the court room for around 10 minutes or so and out i came. The two defendants got away with "not guilty" so im pretty annoyed! One even had his mummy and daddy come along believing his petty made up story! So yeah, I was nervous, Didn't know what too expect but im glad it over

Been driving my car without the steering angle sensor connected due to it being faulty, Im new too driving, How much of a difference will this have made? It feels awfully twitchy and all over the place at 70mph+

Can anyone suggest a cheap hatchback under 2k? Id prefer it had abit of punch aswell. Looking at the Citroen c2 vts's which go a little over my budget for a reasonable one.

If you do its through people you know? Im keeping a eye out on the direct gov jobsite & seeing if anything good comes up. Hey everyone, Wishing everyone a Happy New Year! So whats your Career/Job? Do you enjoy it? Thinking of moving on too another job? How did you get into your job in the first place? The reason i ask, Ive been working at a car breakers some time now, Now im considering getting a new job, The pay isn't brilliant, and just in general working on/around cars everyday is just getting boring and doesn't interest me in the slightest, At times can get very stressful especially when the main boss is watching your every move with a short temper! There isn't many decent jobs around my area atm, So can anyone offer some advice so i can get onto a job career i might like / or even better pay eventually? I don't mind going too college or working on minimum apprenticeship wage as-long as it leads too something better. So lets here your career story!

Turned out too be a leaking rear brake cylinder, Fixed, But the pedals weak from a rushed bleed just too that cylinder, So next weekend give it a proper once over!

Ive got a Skoda Fabia estate, Same engine as your polo, 19, No claims and im paying £900 full comp as the main driver. But admittedly everything else i tried was sky high, over £2,000 easily.

Complete brake failure! Turned out my road down the hill, Bam, Foot went straight too the floor. Im thinking perished/Broken brake lines? The car was standing for a few months untill a week ago, Although i had too drive through some floods on monday......
