  1. - A sled with huskies pulling it - A banana boat - somehow? - A wheelie bin, you could have the bin men act like they're just putting the bins back, then jump out of it in your prom suit ;D - Roll down a hill in a giant tractor tyre - A piggyback from someone famous - Parachute - would be so awesome - A hearse, it could power slide around the corner, the coffin would fly out, and you'd be inside it - Abseil down from a police helicopter
  2. Thanks for the heads up man, didn't even know it was out. I had a look at the feature list, it looks like Apple have finally cottoned on to a few reasons people jailbreak, and implemented them themselves, it's about time I hope you don't have to pay for the OS for iPod touch again EDIT: It's free, yay ;D
  3. Great shout PS Mobile - Photoshop, awesome for quick, simple edits and has an option to upload straight to facebook. - Free SUBCARD - When you sign up, it gives you a unique barcode, then every time you go to Subway, show them your code thing, and it puts points on your account and when you have enough points, you can use your account to get a free sub. WIN. - Free. DoodleJump - Tilt your iPhone to jump up platforms. Sounds extremely more awesome than it is. Believe the hype. If you don't already have it, go and get it. Now. - 59p Canabalt - Tap the screen to jump, run across buildings and dive through glass, insanely addictive. - £1.79 TouchGrind - Crazy ass skateboarding game, the best 3 quid I've spent on my iPod Touch. - £2.99 I used to have like 9+ pages of apps, it just gets cumbersome trying to get to the ones at the end
  4. After watching a 12 year old kid back hop better than me when I let him on my bike, I'M GOING TO RIDE.

  5. I've managed to snap my mech hanger in half, so I'll probably take it to a bike shop tomorrow, see how much they're selling new mech hangers, and get it sorted by them while I'm there. Btw, Alex Dark, could you post a video of what you're on about doing or anything to help create an image in my head, I don't grasp much of what you said, I've literally been riding 3/4 days
  6. I got a M.A.D. Phase 1.2 on Monday, or Tuesday, I can't even remember, and I love it, no problems until now. (Apart from my calves, no, I'm not a farmer, I've grazed my legs on the back wheel while it's been spinning, so while you're reading this, if you could throw down some links for some shin guards that protect your calves aswell, it would be greatly appreciated ) Anyway, I was trying to pivot up a bench this morning, and I may have f**ked the rear derailleur, 'cause now my gears are messed up, and whenever I change gear, sometimes it doesn't, or it goes all spazzy, and if it's near the top or bottom end of the "gear spectrum", i.e. 1, 2 or 7, 8, it doesn't change at all, and when I go into gear 8, the chain goes off the cog, and grinds against the rear bit of the actual frame. I'm hopeless with gears as I've rode BMX for the past 4+ years, when I traded a Digi-vice for a bright orange mountain bike (An actual f**king digi-vice, like a Poke-dex, but for Digi-mon. I'm not even kidding, I got it for like £4, got bored of it then my mate found it and told me he'd swap me his bike for it... Then I found out why, as I was bombing down a hill, and it literally fell apart.) and before that all my life I've rode BMX, so Me + Gears = Fail. So don't leave out any suggestion to dumb, as I've not tried anything apart from actually lifting the chain back onto a higher gear. I may have even done that wrong. As far as I know, the bike is entirely factory, any other information you need I will gladly try to supply Oh, and try to refrain from leaving "Change it to a single speed." comments, as I may order one soon anyway Thanks for reading
  7. Thirding the "No rush though" ;D I thought you meant the actual advert was annoying, and was hoping for a rant, not that you couldn't understand what he said in it..
  8. You want to remove a layer of paint, and keep the paint underneath the top coat of paint intact? I don't know if you could take a layer off, but if you want it all off my mate uses Nitromors or whatever it's called, and he swears by it for removing paint easily. Sorry if I wasn't any actual help
  9. Thanks for the replies I'll probably just keep them on a while, until I get a bit more serious with trials, and then I'll decide whether to get a conversion kit. Or just keep them on... But yeah, thanks haha
  10. Sorry if there's a topic already about this, any information or links to said topic would be fine and I'll try to get a mod to close it, but I did a quick search for single speed conversion, and the only thing that came up was how to do it, I want to know why? If I get a trial bike that has gears, and I don't convert it to a single speed, will there be any major changes to the way it rides? What's the advantages of having a single speed, as opposed to gears? The longest distance I'll ride it will probably be 2-3 miles, and then back, so is it worth keeping the gears, or should I convert it to SS? Thanks in advance Ryan
  11. Is it just jump length/height that a heavy bike restricts then? I've been lookin' at a Zoo Pitbull 26" (older model, doesn't look as flash as the ones on selectbikes, etc.. and it's grips have no ends, so I'm guessin' it's pretty old), which I've heard is also a bit heavy, but if the only difference weight makes is jump length and height, I'm not really bothered for my first bike. The eBay link - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/zoo-pitbull-26-pedal-trials-bike-/230471611170?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Bikes_GL&hash=item35a92db322#ht_500wt_975 If anyone could take a look, and give me an estimate of what it would go to, or how much to pay for it without getting ripped off, I'd really appreciate it Don't steal! Thanks for the vote, and I'll be sure to check it out, cheers
  12. Is there anywhere else aside from eBay? I've looked at Pinkbike, but my internet was going extremely slow, I'll check again to see if it's gotten any better. I've got about £250, but I could save up, I don't really want to spend £500+ on a bike, and then not really like trial biking, and be stuck with it, so I'll almost definitely go second-hand. @Jamie_Trials, you said the Hitman was pretty heavy, what will this actually change in the performance of the bike? Because I liked it until you said that haha, just want to know if the bike being a bit heavier will have a large impact on my riding? Thanks for the votes people
  13. Argh! I've looked at so many bikes, only to find problems with them later on from a review or another rider haha. Yeah, I've skimmed eBay, I wanted to get a second hand one in the first place, but I don't really know what I'm looking for, so it failed after a while lol, I think I'm gonna go 26", any decent starter bikes that are relatively cheap? Thanks for the reply and the vote
  14. Thanks for the quick reply Haha, one of the main reasons I joined was trials-forum has barriers against illiterate monkeys Do you own an Onza? I've heard the Onza Hitman is fairly heavy compared to most 26"s and want some further advice on that as I think I'm going to go the 26" road..
  15. I'm possibly going to test out a few bikes at the weekend, including the aforementioned Onza Rip, Onza Bird and Onza Hitman, as I can't decide whether I want to ride 20" or 26", but before I went I wanted to know if any of the bikes are of a decent build, and will they be suitable for a trials beginner (I literally have never put foot to pedal on a trials bike, I've ridden mountain bike a fair bit a while ago, then moved onto a bmx which I've rode for the past few years). I was also fair interested in the Diamondback Tekiya, but was put off a bit after reading reviews that a few of them had snapped, can anyone confirm/deny this? Sorry if it's in the wrong place/already been asked, this is my first topic
