I'm having the same problem at the mo wanna upgrade my phase but an very confused you could get a Acs claw freewheel cheep and cheerful and work great on the rear!!! Let me now what you choose to do
hi
i am riding a phase 1.2 and the rear hub is crap. i am looking at upgrading but as i bought the bike brand new for £250 cant justify spending £120 on a hope free hub so was wondering if this would be better than my current hub and okay for trials? http://superstar.tibolts.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=31&products_id=342 also would i need a new rim aswell? and how much would it cost to be built up. dont wanna spend a fortune so cheep options would be appreciated
cheers
Yeah but the back caliper is broke. Anyone know were I can get the onza ones?
If not any other cheep recomendations?
And are the avid rim brakes no good then?
Hey
I am starting to use my mod again and it has v brakes on an the rear ones shite, so have seen some rim brakes on chain reaction that fit on v brake mounts some avid ones!!! Question Is would they be any good for trials.
Cheers
I use citrus pads were amazing first 2 months then went a bit shitty!! Rock n roll bikes do 2 pairs for £11 so not bad really, think CNC backed pads are you bet bet on smooths
Just seen these on rock n roll bikes!! Not any info though does anyone know what size they'll be? Also will they be any goo for trials?

Cuz I have a crap freehub!! Which means I need a new hub and a freewheel cuz I can't afford a hope pro 2 also I'd need new spokes and someone to build it so atleast £120 if not a lot more!
As for the gyres looking on tarty the hi rollers are one of the lightest available
I have maximum of £80 to spend making it lighter! Untill christmas when may have a bit more
Well yeah because if need a rim hub and a freewheel!!! Wereas forks are half tht price! I can't build a new rear wheel for less than £120 whereas forks are only about £60
So all in all I want a lighter bike yeah and you were no help by making some answer up!!!!!!!
Edit: Danny mac and ali c ride street I don't!!!
Well I was trying to lighten the back end up!! But the only way to save weight is to buy a new rim which I just can't afford!! So thought may aswell try lighten elsewhere on the bike!!!!!
So you haven't actually weighed the forks?
Hi there
Basically I hear that the hubs on a phase are shit so I am looking at building up a new rear wheel with a onza pro diamond rim so that it's light!! But I can't afford a pro 2 hub so was thinking of buying a fixed hub and freewheel but most freewheels could unscrew on the back I think so what decent freewheels are out there tht can be run on a Hub also how easy would it be to fit a freewheel to my cranks?
All help appreciated cheers
