  1. found a spanking new chain in my tool/parts box, but both my chain tools seem to have gone walkies... celebrating a mates birthday all day styley on the saturday so providing i feel remotely human, i am up for!
  2. women should have no say as to whether you can go haha. if she doesn't like it, tell her to do one!
  3. I'd definitely be up for this, a nice chill out before the mental/metalness of download festival the next week!
  4. i have considered it but i don't have a wife / am not getting married anytime soon... if i bother to get a new chain this week then maybe yes.
  5. just so you know its 2011 now lol
  6. phil doesn't have fun bolts so assume it fits in nicely. fun bolts are too chunky for it though. but looking good phil, wouldn't mind having a hop on her!
  7. "thank you. that was the funniest thing i've seen in a long time! you're lucky you didn't hit your face..." "i did hit my face..."
  8. a little stiff lol hurts to eat but i'll soldier through
  9. yeah boii haha gotta laugh it off. im up for another poole ride once i get a new chain
  10. was doing the gap from that cylinder like wall over to the main brick one. chain snapped and smacked my chin on the wall haha.
  11. some good pics. is a shame you put the camera away just before my chain snapped though hahaa
  12. ok well i'll aim to get to the station at around half 11 so hopefully see a few of you there
  13. i fancy having a hop about tomo so it seems poole is where its at! is there free parking near the station at all?
  14. awesome vid guys. love how relaxed it seems but with some big moves
  15. i used to love this a lot. cracked by the head tube and had it rewelded but it eventually went again which is when i moved to the control. i had a plastic mini seat zip tied on most of the time. used a mech for tension most of the time too but by the looks of this pic i destroyed the hanger! i reckon with another inch rise on the bars it'd be awesome. think those are 1 or 1.5" azonic bars with fsa stem. i started to get ok on this frame, did me proud!

    Shoes?

both would be fine. i'm using some etnies similar to those atm and they're much more comfy than my skinny adidas trainers i was using a couple of months ago
  17. i had one for quite a while but never measured the geo. quite short though. think the back end is fairly long, especially as they have horizontal dropouts. i really liked riding this frame. and its well worth the £29.99 theyre going for brand new on ebay!!! edit: heavy due to steel so not for the weight weenies.
  18. only problem with that is that tpa generally isn't evenly shared between the cylinders, tends to all be on one side. would probably work for people with a splitter though..
  19. i can never be arsed to take my chain off. if its all gunky i just use brake cleaner and an old toothbrush. lube her up after and jobs a gooden.

    Shoes?

i generally find skate shoes very comfy to wear when riding. i always used to use try-all shoes til recently though. they are very comfy and supportive but i destroyed the soles with the pedals so now back to trusty skate shoes.
  21. haha yes thats the one. im guessing the plan is to move along southsea front towards portsmouth after, kinda a backwards pompey ride.
  22. just do it, its not a long drive haha. PO5 3ST is the postcode for the pyramids and its not too far from there still on the main drag. i'll be trying to find some free parking near the pyramids and hope to join at about 1. luke i will give you a bell and hope you answer haha if not i'll ride around til i find someone!
  23. pretty sure i didnt even glue my coustsink refills in when i got them haha. was ages ago now, and i had no problems. one of the maggie piston nipples has since snapped off into the cnc backing which is annoying though, hence now running one coustsink and one proper old koxx brown!
