Out of interest, how much extra would it cost to run it as a standalone event? I think people would pay a lot more to not have security breathing down our necks, at an event where its just trials riders, where we get the one controlled fire and are allowed to make just a little noise!

If you've had a few years off, replace the whole chain and not just the split link. I didn't, I just lubed it up and carried on. This resulted in a 7 foot gap to face... New chain won't do any harm!!

Ash and Euan left for bed, so I stayed with you for another beer. Then you pretty much passed out at the camper table so I woke you up, said bye and left. Before I'd even lit my rollie outside I heard a huge thud, opened the door and you were sprawled across the floor! I asked if you wanted a hand up and you shouted "f**k OFF!" hahaha, "You said you were leaving so why are you still here?!" "Yeah, night JD." Overall I had a good time this weekend, just a few things would improve it next year Big thanks to Adam, Matt, Mark etc. Hope Ali's foot gets better soon!

Currently have my King all stripped down for a service. Started fannying around at the weekend so fingers crossed she'll be purring nicely this weekend! I'll hopefully be out Saturday afternoon, but that all depends on just how hungover/drunk I am from Friday night. I'll have a quiet Saturday night though so that I'm not all over the place on Sunday! Well up for this!

you will generally sidehop higher if you can exaggerate all movements and land on two wheels. thats what seems to go down these days anyway. but i can't sidehop to two at all! edit: and as for tyre pressure, it can affect bounce loads. but if i were to run a good side hopping tyre pressure then all my other moves, gaps etc, would result in a lot of folded rims!
