Maybe a leak, I bled mine with water-antifreeze and it just poured out the lever. Took it to the local bike shop and got a new lever piston and a fresh oil bleed, sorted amazing brake, I also have the same brake set up apart from the booster.
cant figure it out :$ I have the Try All Disc Brake with the 180mm rotor, I was told to buy the Hope ISO adaptor +20mount, now I've came to put it together and I cant figure out which way the adaptor goes will upload picture if anyone wants more info
Thanks Shane
okay I'm not sure though, my mum said she would pay partly for new cranks =/ and if the helicoil is just going to fall apart everytime I take the pedal out, its just gonna be a B***H
Took my old pedal out my crank (which has been helicoiled) the heli coil basically fell apart when I unscrewed my pedal should I get it re-helicoiled or will it be better buyin new cranks such as the Rockman Lites, at the minute I have Echo TR cranks
yeah, I just phoned tartybikes and the said to file the washers so they are rough, this will let them grip the frame better, so I will go and try that and see how I come on, if it fails Rockman cams will be purchased
Just wondering if anyone has had the same problem
I tension my chain perfectly, tighten the axle bolts up, then after maybe 1-10mins the snail cam just slips, then the chain goes extremely slack and the wheel touches the brake pad
I cant figure out how to sort it
the hub is a Because which comes with snail cams
I just cleaned my chain, I thought this way may be useful to you guys.
Take your chain off your bike
put it into a bottle
fill the bottle 1/4 with water and a bit of fairy liquid
shake it until the water is black
then repeat another time
fill again with 1/4 water and keep doing this till the water isn't dirty any more
if you have a product called "sticky stuff remover" put a few drops of that in aswell which removes oil
when you have done that lay it on a towel etc. and spray with oil
Hope this helped
