  1. Sprung tensioners are for vertical dropouts and chain tugs are for horizontal dropouts...
  2. Yeah, I agree the M.A.D was fairly low quality compared to the Rockman, and the price was certainly a LOT different :$
  3. Hmmm, I would like to know aswell.
  4. No cracks on my Rockman yet.... cracked my M.A.D in under a year.... had the Rockman for nearly a year
  5. If you don't have a budget... Rockman Slate II
  6. Same, and I'm sure he posted a topic up saying he just got a trials bike.
  7. Yeah, me and chains don't get on well snapped 6 in a year.
  8. Aw sorry mate didn't read that correctly.
  9. Buy a free wheel tool, something like this then watch Tartybikes guide to removing freewheels.
  10. Took me ages, all my friends were pedal kicking before me, took about 7 - 8 months and now I can gap 6 - 7ft and been riding about 1year 3months roughly. Shane
  11. I've had the M.A.D Phase 1.1 and it was a good bike, not much difference between the 1.2 apart from the cranks. Only thing is I cracked the chainstay but I'm not the lightest rider. Any way good bike overall.
  12. I've never used either so I'd say Magura HS33 with TNN LGM pads with a medium grind, this setup for me is unstoppable. Shane
  13. Echo Urbans, they feel really stiff and by the looks of the pictures on here, look stronger and have a higher life expectancy.
  14. You would probably be better with something hydraulic, if you want cheap try this.
  15. What BB is it ? Is it square taper or isis ? Shane
  16. For a good tensioner I would go along the lines of something like this and you will need a spacer kit and finally a sprocket Hope this helps. Shane
