  1. Thats a load of shit. You dont need a big car or drugs to have a road trip. And its rarely to an exotic location.

although its gaurenteed to be more fun!

my idea of a road trip is a group of people travelling (via road) to somewhere you wouldnt normally go...

a 6 hour trip to newquay is in my eyes a roadtrip!, I guess any holiday/event where the journey takes up a significant amount of the actual holiday time!

    Company History

Founded in February 2005, YouTube is the leader in online video, and the premier destination to watch and share original videos worldwide through a Web experience. YouTube allows people to easily upload and share video clips on www.YouTube.com and across the Internet through websites, mobile devices, blogs, and email.

Everyone can watch videos on YouTube. People can see first-hand accounts of current events, find videos about their hobbies and interests, and discover the quirky and unusual. As more people capture special moments on video, YouTube is empowering them to become the broadcasters of tomorrow.

YouTube received funding from Sequoia Capital in November 2005 and was officially launched one month later in December. Chad Hurley and Steve Chen proceeded to become the first members of the YouTube management team and currently serve as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Technology Officer respectively.

In November 2006, within a year of its launch, YouTube was purchased by Google Inc. in one of the most talked-about acquisitions to date.

YouTube has struck numerous partnership deals with content providers such as CBS, BBC, Universal Music Group, Sony Music Group, Warner Music Group, NBA, The Sundance Channel and many more.

  3. top gear can now be compared to the new indiana jones movie.

is it just me or do we want something other than explosions & car jumps? get back to the real stuff... im looking forward to the skyline in japland test though :D

  4. anything whihc includes someone saying..

"look at him trying to friends up jay" cannot be taken seriously, kidulthood was a comedy, fairly amusing at that and ill watch adulthood for a laugh.

im sure it'll be better than indiana jones... what a bad film

  5. Any will do really, before you start paying 'premium' prices they're all much the same.

Just make sure you get your domain separately (from a domain registrar, eg domainmonster.com). Then buy your hosting. Then follow the instructions on how to link your domain to your hosting account. If you buy your domain from your hosting company there is a good chance that they'll steal it off you once your hosting runs out - so its best to register it yourself under your own name.

Hostgator.com is the only one I can think of off the top of my head for hosting - its pretty cheap.

Be careful, when you buy a lot of domains at the cheaper places - they dont actually include any control software (ie you cant setup your domain or sort any forwarding without paying extra) - if this happens and you dont want to pay I use zoneedit, which is a free control pannel type thing :D

I usually head towards 34sp.com - not the cheapest but at the same time not run by numpties, there are cheaper out there but not often backed by decent support and server uptime, if you want the dogs danglies head towards media temple, they host just about everyone whos anyone.

(check ebay if your not after much in the way of services, I got a .com domain, 15gb monthly bandwidth and 2gb space for £15 a year... although after 3 years the host died and disapeared off the face of the planet :D)

  6. there are basically two styles of "flying" the old school, massive air and dangle off the kite and the newschool stuff which is all about keeping the kite low and very powered, it means its a lot more wakestyle, harder and looks better when you know what your looking at, but from an outsiders view the oldschool massive stuff is where its at.

anyone can go 25+ foot high on a kite but keep it low and its a different story!

  7. Pffft if I knew how to edit properly maybe haha!

Also peeps, this is the video that Andy Gordon made prior to this vid - http://hadlow-pro.flexifoil.com/

ah yeh the first one, it obviously left a mark on you to remember jonny :)

he also did one with a guy called ruben lenten, not on quite the same scale but still amazing. (if you want to see some mental moves put in ruben lenten kiteloop on youtube)

  8. also the people that vote for crap like this never actually buy/do/see/endorce the performer afterwards! false hope....

that MJ dance with the arab janitor is better to watch, funnier (just) and although maybe not so much talent - a better more pelasing act.

  9. hes good, but not compared to proffesional b-boys/breakdancers etc, and its being judged by people who know nothing about dance... if you've ever seen that JLO's dancelife program there are hundreds of dancers better than him that dont get work :S

same can be said about singers etc that win these programs, in my mind.. they loose ALL credability as soon as theyve appeared on the show and are forgotten as quickly as theyre discovered.

  10. cba reading all the wives tales undoubtably littered in this thread, if you want to try it try it, preferably off someone you trust but its highly unlikely anything bad will happen.

  11. slightly back on track, if you open an image which is b&w photoshop will assume you want to keep it that way and will open your file in monochrome palette (black and white) as peoiple have said, if you want to add colour you can change it to rgb/cmyk/lab etc...

As for text in photoshop vs illustrator... if its for web use photoshop, print use illustrator... simple.

  12. Ive got two, one halifax one (and a halifax bank account)

    and an egg card.

Both can be paid online hassel free, or if im near a halifax i can just dump the card on their desk and say i want to pay something, be it directly from my account or cash, no forms, no writing, no effort... loverly!

  13. Possibly not true because it was on the gadget show (shall i shut up now? no.. will carry on, see where it goes... :D)

But, LG pioneered the hole high definition project, they showed some massive box thing which was in actual fact the first high def decoder, LG also make a lot of the screens for others companys although no mention who for obvious puposes.

Personally, In your case id go for LG but if it were for myself, id spend more and get outside of the high-street "pimp" tv's and look towards lowe or bang and olufsen.
