Anyone know what i need to be able to do Graphic Design at uni. although im looking to do Design in graphics and media
nothing? Unfortunatly design courses in general require you to be willing to learn thats about it, often people graduate with no skill or knowledge, Your best off developing your own portfolio... more useful than any grade.

f**k the pub, i went to sleep!!!!!! still got a business plan to write (not started) and a furniture/design peice to design and make to degree level within 8 weeks... not just that but also showing sed peice in london (8 weeks) DOH!!!!

Looks pretty good on the outset! im not sure some of the background are well selected considering the way your putting text ontop of them, its hard to read a lot of the content (page 7 for example), personally I think if you added a black(low opacity) section under the text it would make it much more user friendly.
Page 13 is hot though!

I think helvetica is fine to use on small type etc but its a bit boring for logos these days

Mears is good, but that series with that incredibly boring guy in england was awful, you cant spend all day fouraging for nuts and berries then cooking it in a sauspan with tesco flour... Thats just pointless!!!!

Ahh I feel your pain, I struggle to talk to pretty girls.

One of the best programs since.... I dunno, A very very long time...
But they killed off the best charector and I think the ending was pretty weak
still, 100x better than most the other crap on tv!

you can tell from the camera angles that everythings been shot more than once, pre-planned etc but in that particular episode he actually says "this is very dangerous so im going to rope up" not exactly cheating if you say it...
plus the world we live in he couldnt do it without even if he wanted to, the health and safety risks would put the production team at the risk of being sued etc.. Its as close to a tv documentary on survival can get. Hes still better to watch than ray mears, think of it as cast away - the series.
