  1. because stopping if for people who dont want to jump that car coming towards them.
  2. mix up of words but to answer your question heatsink pads work alot better int he metal backings, means a lot less flex and a stiffer less spongey feeling brake.
  3. what frame have you got man? problem with running a non onza hub like the echo tr are there not a true 110mm hub because of the 2 snail cams making it 116mm where as onza and i think some viz hubs are a true 110 hub. like you say you'll have to mess about with putting snail cams on both sides of the frame and just play about with them till its right. i had to do this with my onza limey 3 and my echo tr hub. ending up running one on the outside one on the inside.
  4. a good front brake is a must. putting all your confidence in it. you wouldnt do a large gap with a slipping back brake, same for the front need to have faith that it will grip.
  5. ive had my echo about a year now and its on its way out now. creaking and crunching. trialtech sport isnt much more and is a way better BB
  6. yer might do. just need to buy a new hub and get a hope tech. been gettting annoyed with my brakes not preforming well all the time.
  7. thought it was onza. my echo tr hub needed abit of modification to fit. looking to maybe go dual disc. buy a hope tech and new hub. only problem im facing is i sidehop to the left which i fear bending my disc.
  8. what rear hub you running? i have the limey 320 and there an odd spacing for disk hubs.
  9. is it just me or is the front try all tyre on the wrong way round...
