  1. Can say the same, if not more for you.
  2. It was clearly stating that you don't need to argue over his spelling, or his grammar. If he read the rules he will know getting validated depends upon proper use of the English language and being useful. All you to did was argue over who's right and who's wrong. My comment wasn't needed your right. It wasn't constructive but I keep getting notices that someone has commented on the thread and I come to see all the bickering. Like I said if your not going to be useful Don't type it's simple click your mouse and leave the page. For one to talk an ellipse has one three dots... for example we can correct you also. just drop it and take it for what ti was I don't want to read anymore about who's right who's wrong. life's to short go ride your bike.
  3. Both of you grow up and stop bickering. Honestly talk about trials or be useful, or say nothing at all. I'm tired of reading your shenanigans. new and useful rule if you have nothing useful to say, don't say nothing at all.
  4. unfortunately they have gone out of business is what I have heard from a lot of reliable sources .
  5. Because there are no gold riser stems and I would rather stick with hope parts I know they make quality parts. Also I am able to switch stems whenever I want I work in a shop I can put mine back on the shelf and pick another one out to try at any time. I just like this one the bike rolls up good, super flickable on rear all and all a great ride for my first trials bike.
  6. It is a marino frame, yes it is inspired geo but I made a few small changes. I have a vinyl plotter i made all my own sticker minus the trial tech sticker it came with my rear cog. I decided to support inspired by using their logo because I used their geometry. thanks man it's a nice bike but it's currently mocking me because we have 3 feet of snow and I wont ride it in the snow
  7. never to late to change to a shorter stem or cut the stearer tube, I figured started big is better and with all the spacers I can find where i like my bar height. measure twice cut once ;P once i get to ride it I will start making changes. thanks for commenting
  8. It is a single hope spacer kit only 4 spacers, decided not to cut the fork down, also I ready higher bars are better for streaty trials. I will start with the uncut and eventually, "possibly" cut it down. thanks for commenting the bike rides like a dream, it weighs in at a whopping 21 pounds! nearly as light as some mods so i hear that is. I had originally intended on going black and red, but when i went to order the red hopes from my supplier where I live they had none in stock. So I opted out for gold and white, there was another nice bike in my shop that was white and gold with some other funky colors on it. My friend got me into trials and told me just to get a half @$$ bike, that's not my style I went all in and got myself a dream bike. thanks for commenting

  10. It all started for me watching Ryan Leach on youtube, then i purchased his dvd's. Shortly after i started modding my bike with trials parts one by one until it was as close to a trials bike as it could be. Then I learned of Danny MEGASKILL ("macaskill") and my friend had an inspired i rode it 3 or 4 times over a few weeks and i was hooked so I put together my own inspired and now I'm waiting ever so patiently for the SNOW TO GO BACK TO HELL >.< Ever since i saw the sport i wanted to try but couldn't afford the parts, Now I work in a shop the parts come in at a much better price, and I can finally start a dream I've been looking forward to for 6 or more years!
  11. Well like i said weight depending. I weigh 210 pounds and i ride a 24" I ride low 30's or high 29's depends. Also upon what type of riding you do in street there is a lot more sharp edges to hit. In natural riding there are a lot more soft edges to hit, not to say they are all soft but more or less. and 12 psi I could only see in a 20" mod bike.
  12. Clearly you haven't read the rules yet. the need to cuss/swear is not tolerated. Use your English better. There is no need to curse in a sentence. congratulation on the build i just finished mine to. But we have near 2 feet of snow so there will be no riding it.
  13. You have created the longest run on sentence in the world. >.< Either way welcome back to the forum. What kind of bike are we talking about here to?
  14. In the case of square taper I've never tried to fit a spacer before. I guess i should have asked if it was isis or square before remedying the issue. Either case after looking at the pictures I don't see how the spacer wont work. the square taper eventually hits a spot where it cant go any further on to the spline. You essentially need to add a stopper to stop it from getting 100% of the way to the spot ( hence spacer) it just need to be large enough to reach the bottom of the spline with force. I will e-mail you a picture of what i mean if this doesn't make seance. Not to worry, No harm done. this is a great forum compared to the last one I left!
  15. yea man that's the spacer you might be able to fine one at a hardware store to save time and shipping. All you want to do is get a few mm of clearance between the front free wheel and the frame. If you do order get more then 1 go for 3 in case, better to have more then less. Once instaledl make sure they stay tight. just so there is no confusion your running isis? the washer just needs to fit over the isis spline and sit against where the crank would normally. If I was validated and could post pictures I would show you exactly what I mean. Best bet hardware store first. try to find something that's not to wide it only has to be a few mm.
  16. Well if you say its all correct I have used a washer that just barley fits over the spline and then install the crank it will give you the extra 2-4mm you need. That being said keep a close eye that the crank stays tight after adding the spacer. Good luck!
  17. Not a problem, It was the first thing that came to mind and it is very possible. If it is I'm unsure what you can do to fix it besides return it and get another one. Did you order the part or have it installed at a shop? If it was at a shop you can bring it back have them measure your frame and if it's 73 COMPLAIN! Nothing worse then a stupid shop mechanic, I work with a few. But complain none the less and try to get a better deal while your at it.
  18. Is it possible that the shell with is 73? That could be the make or break point of your bike there.
  19. in the seance of weight I have a custom marino /inspired frame fully built but i can't really post it until i get validated but none the less. here is a parts list of what I'm running and my total weight. -Marino/Inspired frame -inspired forks -inspired rims -halo spokes -hope pro 2 front hub -hope pro 2 rear hub -inspired seat -inspired seat post -inspired seat clamp -hope head set -hope stem -hope spacers -hope front quick release -magura hs33 rear brake -rockman cnc pads -hope mono mini trials front brake -KMC 710 sl chain -maxxis holly roller tires -trial tech single speed kit -trial tech 14 tooth rear cog -surley 18 front thread on -echo sl drilled cranks -echo urban 18 tooth bash guard -reset titanium bottom bracket -echo sl magura clamps -trial tech brake booster -echo tr snail cams -trial tech m4 snail bolts -inspired pedals -inspired rise bars -inspired lock on grips -hope bar ends this set up weight "21" pounds or 9.53 kg as soon as I'm validated I will post the whole build from step 1
  20. many of the KMC chains are very popular, I recommend a KMC 710 SL light and strong
  21. actually it's not a de-greaser common misconception, It is a lubricant but not a heavy one. It is more of a rust inhibitor that anything. the question you should ask yourself is after i spray that on a bike part and let it dry when it touch it is it slippery?
  22. Isis bottom brackets are much better then square taper, the reason his crank are rounded was he didn't keep it tight. In my shop experience I have seen this many times if your crank becomes loose get off your bike and walk. The little bit of laziness inside will say I'm only 3 blocks away, but that's all it takes to start the damage. The isis bottom bracket has many splines giving more power to the drive terrain were a square is just a four side spline. There will be controversy for sure but your money is better spent in isis. Get yourself a user serviceable bottom bracket like a rest titanium you get a super lite bottom bracket for 125$ I currently own the reset ti bottom bracket and no issues, It has bearings that can be replaced if anything happens o you pay the good money for something nice and when it goes bad you shell out a couple$ per bearing reinstall and your back to the golden days. Hope this helps. Shop Guy.
  23. very true but depending on the over all weather conditions you ride in, ie - wet, muddy, lots of moist areas you may find that breaking power is greatly reduced due to some of these conditions where the grind would be fantastic. It's really a rider preference. But I 100% agree with you.
  24. In any case you have to know if you want to grind your wheel or not. Maguras are great and have fantastic stopping power but come at the cost of grinding your wheel not to mention once they have a grind they are no longer able to feather like a disk brake would. disk also has great power but if it mechanical it could slip they don't always bind up super tight like a magura would. it;s really a power decision over a feathering decision. if you want brakes you can feather get disk brakes that lock and bite super hard maguras.
