  1. Meta 360 mod, polished out frame, divvy before me sprayed it matt black, looked terrible, if your out there! Ha
  2. Dont grind with a cutting disk fitted ( thin one) i work in industry and seen some stomach chruning things happb because people got lazy and thought i wont b grinding long cutting disk will be fine, they arent, and if you do get away with it, the next person who throws that disk into a cut will get seriously hurt, Sorry, i had to mention it, its like 2am and im at work at 6 lol but had to get this out there, would hate the thought of hearing another nasty grinder accident, bork Dont use ancient disks either, glue breaks down in them and they throw out shards
  3. Im a brand newbie to trials, but just leanring to back hop and fell off the back, happened so fast the pedals stayed stuck to the bottom of my feet, whack! Arse and head took a beating lol, and that was nothing. Im glad theres no macho attitudes here about helmets! I come from a motorbike background where your laughed at for even starting a bike without a lid on, cycling allover seems to have a stigma, so this lid attitudes good to see! Maybe start wearing one for football too, dislocated jaw and concussion, semi blind in one eye for entire game, today...canny! :-/
  4. Bit of photo geek myself, good lighting in the shots, brought the subjects up nice ) anyway, good riding too
  5. Combine video techniques with the pump and nipple, but off the bike, i like the sound of that, that makes more sense in my head too, i always like to know some shortcuts if there is some ) Thanks people
  6. Good words, you recommend the plate because of the flat surface to land on to maintain balance? Whereas a ring could throw you off in the early efforts? I see what your saying, thanks.
  7. Im currently running on a bash ring, but have recently straightened and cleaned up my bashguard mounts, is it worth fitting one? I cant decide alone, as im a newbie anyhow.
  8. When i first got the bike, it wasnt sat perfect, was sat on 1.5mm packing, m6 washer, i changed that for 0.75 that seemed to be alot better, but stupidly ive tried bleeding to lose spongieness, and it hasnt worked, i did it the car way though, let gravity do it, caliper design must mean you have to use the above method of pumping it down, need more oil now.
  9. Im just over the a19 in thornaby, probably better to be on the same page anyway
  10. Hey, im up here in the north east of england, if theres anyone out there! Im just stating out, and wudnt mind some tips and company
  11. Get well soon man, and LROB i think i got how u were trying to come across, like back handed relief, it didn't pan out so good in type, no sparking arguement, just still can be seen as a blokey way of giving sympathy. Dont agree with it anyway because it doesnt come accross well in type hence the backlash, Heres to getting him back on his wheels! Pinned legs can bring a constant limp, not to mention muscle loss, any new links on recovery? Im into my bikes and a motoGP rider has just returned 41 days after breaking his femur, a simple break unlike his but its the aids he had, oxygen chamber seems to be a bit of a miracle
  12. I do/did ride moto trials, organisation kind of fell out the back of it round here and slowed right down, now i dont have the trailor or anything so im kinda money stumped, bikes no longer competitice either, i will return one day!
  13. Funny the piracy warnings still coming up at the start! Its been put on in sections on youtube also, glad you found full version, thanks!
  14. Cheers man, a few things i didnt do spot on there, will have to get some more oil and have another go, new pads aswell i think. Thanks for taking time to find that vid!
  15. Hi all, squeaky new out of the box member as you can see, and so is my trials knowledge, im a quick learner though ) i am making the jump from moto trials, and have always kept a keen eye on the bike trials because it looks amazing, i had to give it a go, by chance ive stumbled across a goos but tired bike from a friend, its a meta 360. Hs33 on ground rear and a hope disk mini on the front, front brake was ok, then i went out on my XC and realised how spongey it was against that bikes hydraulics. I have bled the brakes with a bleed kit from my lbs, and it has bot improved, is this atrait of the brake? Or can i get it stiffer? I can pullit nearlly to the bar, after it has bit at arounds parallel with the bar. Thanks in advance, Dan.
  16. Hey all? Why are vee's better, im just making the leap from moto trials, its a genuine question dont want to be seen as arguing.
