well the end would normally have nothing on but spoke holes so what he did was machine that completely off, as you can just make out near were it dips in at the end, and then he got billet aluminium and machined it so it will fit over a lip on the hub which he left on. then the holes for a disk were put in and the spoke holes and the whole thing was attached by sweating where you heat it up so it expands and then when it cools it has a firm hold on the lip. then we chemical mettled it to make it extra strong and painted it black
