  1. Yeah i know it does but the facebook page has been set up and is going have constant improvements, if and when he see's the need to create a website than im sure he will but at this point he feels it is pointless as information pics and methods of contact can all be found on this page.
  2. To be honest, he enjoys what he does and knows that his prices are good so is trying to get his name out there a bit and at this stage it isnt really worth him setting up a website as HE DOESN'T GET ENOUGH CUSTOMERS. when he has a frequent flow of business and an average of customers monthly than yeah of course he will then put more effort in but he isnt willing to lose out and go all out straight away, in other words he is investing.
  3. fair doose mate, and yeah he does all bike frames he has had all the local bmx come round a few times and he has also done mountain bike frame.
  4. 26" limey on the build ;)

  5. Usually when begginers are learning they dont lift the front wheel high enough so thats a tip that could help, also dont worry about jumping back wards for you first few becouse this is normall you will learn to stop this through practise and pedal kicking. Here this is a link that helped me as i also didnt have any fellow trials riders: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aRLi1U61u4g I also think that you shouldnt spend the whole of your time attempting these you should do a few then move on to another technique and then go back to them, this helped me avoid picking up bad habits.
  6. Your technique is a common way of learning and im all for it but now your at this stage you need to have constant practise of rear wheel hopping and once you can do say 6-7 then it about time you attempt hopping on one spot without jumping backwards and then once you feel comfortable doing that then try taking the endo out and putting a bit of a pedal kick and hopping, once you have them steps covered your ready to progress into learning pedal kicks which takesalot of effort and concentration as you have to time your hop perfectly with your kick and release of the brake leaver but with alot of hard work and practise your ace it!
  7. Aha no but the subject has changed through the comments into the price for a powdercoating frames which in his case is the same as the price for a usuall spray on a frame!. The price is not £55, its £35 for a frame and yeah indeed you could simple buy yourself some spray paint and do it yourself but Birdys spraying services offers a professional liable quality and as for you being able to get frames done profesional for £15 then you have found yourself some bargains as they most likely are able to get hold of the equipment and paint for a cheap price where as BSS goes the extra distance and spends muney on quality primare, paint, laquar etc. Birdys spraying services are going to have to pay the full amount for there quality paint etc as at this moment they do not have an official consistant supplier therefull can not cut the prices too low. You may consider the prices slightly higher than you would want to pay but yet BSS have to replace there equipment as and when they are able to get the equipment supplied at a lower price then yes of course there prices will then be lowered.
  8. No his price for a frame to be powerdercoated is £35. £50 was an exaggeration somebody made with the postage although he travels around alot with me so in alot of cases post isnt a worry
  9. yeah well fair doose on that comment but still worth a try and plus you cant hear form word of mouth when he hasnt been given the chance to get out there properly yet. This has still proven helpful as people have liked his page and are contacting him.
  10. There are means and ways of getting parts to and from him except the post and as for his gear etc he has all the tools of the trade as his dad has tought him and passed on his equipment and they have a garage that they have specially suited for spraying purposes's. P.s I understand where you are coming from with the unprofessional "theme" and clearly he will learn and improve on this but atm he is just growing his roots and giving it a go. Some where in the above some one has quoted "some kid who's sprayed his own frame and thinks he can make a few quid doing other people's too." well this isnt the case as i did mention within the original post that he has done many parts beforehand and im going to upload image's in the week.
  11. That isn't what he charges?? and i have said im going try and get some pictures during the weak?
  12. I am posting this for a friend, he does an excellent job at spraying frames and has had alot of experience and learnt straight from his dad who was once a professional with a spray gun. my friend will spray almost all bits and bobs you can imagine on a bike and wants to take spraying further and start to earn money through it so he has created this page where you can contact him on and check his prices: https://www.facebook.com/BirdysSprayingServices I highly recommend him he has done many bits for me and all the local bmxers. You will be pleased with the end result! I will get some pics of previous frames etc that he has done and add them to this topics at some point in the week. Thanks for your time give him a go;)
