  1. personally i would regrind, re setup, make sure you have a good bleed and get a 4 finger lever, with a good bleed you will hardly notice the sponginess, i wouldn't take the booster off till you've tried that yet. boosters do increase your hold, and with a 4 finger lever it should work amazingly, if it doesn't after all that then take the booster off, do a process off elimination

out of interest what year brake and pads are you using?

  2. Thought about getting it blasted?

Soda blasting is the least aggressive and won't pitt the alloy at all, and a local place shouldn't charge you more that £20 for a frame and fork

I got qouted for soda blasting, came back as £60 for the frame, i'm getting mine shot blasted instead, more aggressive but shouldn't pit it to much as it is only iron fillings, much cheaper aswell

  3. I use radial one side on the front wheel with a 180mm hope disc fitted on the 3x side.

    Seems fine to me.

I build wheels and will have time to check spokes and true the wheel if it ever needs it.

Front wheel is viz rim on onza disc hub, 3 months old, has had loads of learning to front and drops upto 5 foot

not really relevant to the rear wheel though is it..

  4. this weeks was good, looking forward to the follow up, looks like there competing against each other, love hammonds towing technique, the car transformation was good and it actually made me properly laugh, not predictable gags

  5. i had this, new tyre new rim, i got an old thick inner tube, cut a section out and rapped it round my rim like a second rim tape, never had a problem since, worked a treat, makes it harder to get the tyre on and off though
