I'm using a Hope Tech 3 with original Hope pads in the back. Also a 160 mm Jitsie rotor. I have it for about a month. In the rain it makes noises and the power is not the best when it comes to hold the tire at the edge. Would it help to switch to other pads or rotors? Thanx.

I never used a chain lock on my trials bike. After cracking 3 Kmc 610 chains in about 3 years by only using them for about 2 till 3 month i thought about a BMX style chain lock. But I heard horror storys about them. I weight about 83 Kg if that makes sense. Do you also ride locks? Had you any problems?

I'm running a Kmc 601 chain but for the first time i use a BMX style chain lock. I heard some warnings about it. Did you ever broke one? shopping.webp

I'm riding a 20 Clean carbon fork for about a year. It's still fine but i think about getting a new one because i don't know how long it will last. I never had any carbon stuff before. I broke a Echo aluminium fork some years ago also 2 aluminium bars. What do you think will be stronger? Alu or carbon forks on a 20 inch bike?

Hope, Jitsie, Kool stop or Clean pads?

I had once Magura Mt5. On the second day the lever broke while doing a sidehop. Maybe my hands pull to hard.... I use now Hope Tech 3 with Jitsie pads. Anyone ever tested the clean pads in the Hope brake?

Looks like the 19 rims from Bonz, Kabra and Monty are the same. But the shops tell they have different weights. I also got told that the Kabra has much stronger material. I ride a Kabra with TNN pads and the fresh grind sucks. It also makes no noise while using the brake. The same pads with other rims like the old Monty or Echos are killer and loud as hell. Maybe the Kabra work better with other pads. Do you think Monty and Bonz use other aluminium for the rims? But they look absolut the same. My friends are riding Monty and Bonz rims with disc, so i don't know how they are when there is a fresh gring on them. Thanx

No, even without the screw it does not work well. Every thing is running free. Still slow. My son is using the same brake, about 2 month without big troubles. 10 minutes ago he took his bike and noticed that he has the same problem with his back lever. I hate this Hope brakes!!! Yesterday they were fine and no one touched the bike since now. No oil at any part of the bike. Pressure is ok also. How can that be? I asked Hope, the biggest Trial shop in Germany, Tarty bikes and some guys working in bikeshops. No one can tell me whats up.

I broke my midfoot some weeks ago wearing Nike Run Free and thinking about a better shoe to safe me. How about the Adidas Terrex Trail Cross? Looks like they are a bit more stiff on the outside.

Got the brake some weeks ago. I had the problems right from the start and i bleed like in the Hope videos. I did it in the past with my sons bike and it worked fine. that brake was filled 5 times in the last week but it don't gets better.

Hi, i'm from Germany and i get mad using my new Trial Tech back brake. Since the first day the lever has no bounce after release the levers after pulling the brakes. I bleeded the brake several times and the bite point is good too. There is also a squelch sound from the inside of the lever where the bolt goes into the lil plate to the piston. May there is a problem with the seal and the spring in the inside? I have the same brake in the front and that one is perfect. Thanx

Will a longer bike make any change while doing bunnys?

Always rode short frames. Like 1010. Will a longer frame fit me better? Are there any long frames with Magura mounts on the market. I know there are some Rockman, but they have only Disc and have a 100+ BB that i don't like. Can you may post a pic of your bike if ist a long one?

Bionic B4R frame wheelbase 1010 tall and wide bars, nature trials. And i'm tall.

Hi i'm 1,85 tall. Will 175 mm cranks work for me better than the short 160 mm ones on a 1010 bike? Thanx
