  1. You can use the gaffa tape.....put it sticky side up (towards tyre) and then dust it in talcum powder..that's what i do (insulation tape though). adam
  2. i think that going to front wheel is also much more common on 26" bikes (than on 20").... CLS sidehops to both wheels on his mod, but in november 02 he does go the front wheel first on te pitbull... adam

  4. he's tried alot of taps...if he can't find the standard tap to fit, he's going to have to measure the pitch and screw-cut it on the lathe. adam
  5. Does anyone know the pitch on (drive side) a pedal thread (and any other information about the thread if you know it!). A mate has stripped the thread in his crank but his dad is an engineer and is making an insert (bit like the tensile one) to replace it. Only thing is- he can't work out what the pitch of the thread is.. cheers, adam
  6. i did that too... :S was old though, and magura material (cast alu) is very brittle... I bought one from the for sale section on here! adam

  8. It sounds like "cool web search"....it is basically a particularly nasty thing that gives birth to itself every time you start up and does all the redirecting and crap you mentioned.... You need CW shredder...i'll google it for you- edit to come. 'tis nasty and norton usually can't deal with it... adam try here Oh and...after you've run this program, you may restart and still have it so run it and restart until it's gone! good luck...

  10. Thanks Janson....i know people love eengoedidee really (i spelt it right!). Yeah Thriftwood makes a nice day- about 5 decent sections (rest is mud really) and we've set up some of the man-made stuff over there into a "trials park". Here's pics of the manmade stuff: pic1 pic2 adam

  16. I hear that Exeter are full time too.....so they're not just any Saturday club- big pay difference between the teams I must admit, but hey- it is big business. Must have been damn windy- the Exeter keeper kept kicking the lenght of the pitch! adam
  17. I had this...but my tool was a cheap dicta one- i just bent the prongs inwards a bit with a hammer. Let's face it- why would you want to use to tool for any other freewheel? The eno is your baby now- make your tool fit it! adam
