  1. ive just noticed once of the bolt mounts for my rear maggie the threads are stripped can i re tap them out or will it not work
  2. ive done it a bit fiddly at times but works great
  3. just had a quick read and really good im going to do my maggie tomorrow ill let you know how i do lol
  4. its very simular to that one but different wheels and brakes i think
  5. sort of depends if you want to do street riding in which case a 24" would be good or more natural rocks ect then i believe a 20" is better suited
  6. i would say work on your stability as once you have that sorted you can put more energy and thought in to your kicks

  9. i think it is a front hub just put on the back i havent riddern the bike really as i have no working back brake
  10. the back wheel isnt on properly on the pic thats why the chain is lose i just put it on quickly to take the pic lol i have no idea if there evo mounts or not? one of the brake pads dosnt clip in the little sticky out bit on the rear piston has snapped can i get a replacement one?
  11. i know i need a new back wheel as this one is a disc rim and ive got a rear maggie do i need a front disc hub on a normal rim or do i need something different?
  12. i wont be riding at all untill i get a new back wheel and i think i need a new piston on the maggie what do you mean by the chain im new to front free wheel
  13. just picked up this got it pretty cheap not sure what its worth but oh well weighs in at 11kgs any comments welcome
  14. ive just picked up my bike its got twin disc rims i know im guna have to replace the back as it has a hs33 and no disc mounts now the back hub looks like a front disc hub with a sprocket on it where the disc gos know is this normal or do you need a specific hub to run a fixed cog on the back its got a front freewheel
  15. this might be me being silly but since we throw ourselves and the bike about wouldnt it be eaiser and simpler to lose the weight off our selves being not wearing jeans wear shorts theres a few hundred grams saved there not having the the chippy ect or am i complety losing the point

  17. im picking up the complete bike tomorrow well later today now lol im just not sure what wheels rims hubs ect are fitted as standard on a Danny Holroyd 24/7 Trials Bike
  18. to be honest im not sure on the rim yet lol it will be purely for looks i might look at doing some comps in the future but i think i have some way to go before im ready for them lol
  19. nice to know im not to fussed about the weight loss but it dos make the bike look a lot better imo
  20. im picking up my bike tomorrow and im thinking of drilling and putting a light grind on the rear rim just wondering if any rim can be drilled and grinded?
  21. a little update things went okish ive got to go for a maths exam as i dont have any A-levels in maths im dreading it i normally dont care to much about exams but i feel like i have so much riding on this
