i would love to go but dont think i have any way off getting there if any one would like to supply a lift for me

im in the same boat as you except its a 10 year gap and a few off those years i was in a wheel chair you might find it hard to start up again but that could just be getting your muscle memory back and your balance you might find one day everything just clicks and you will become alot better allmost instantly

i thought this was about pads getting wet lol

you should be able to do a 40cm drop with 20psi and not get a puncture your either dropping way to hard or there is something in your Tyre take it off and run your fingers round just check if there is anything sharp in there

I've allways worn vans I went through the sole before any stitching came apart or glue lasted me 2-3 years riding near enough every day But im going back a few years now I don't now if they are still as good

I wonder if your just nervous Like you have said you can ride higher difficulty But when your in a comp situation your not at your best could you be slightly nervous Or maybe your putting pressure on yourself without knowing it
