after some swearing, hitting and filing, i now have decent chain tension and the hub is nice and slammed in the dropouts. this makes me happy, now to find the time to go out and ride the bloody thing!! Ben

so apparently trying to get chain off of cog with fingers is bad? managed to drag my thumb into the rear cog, causing a lovely tooth shaped hole in my thump! Kinda hurts and bleeds like a f**ker Ben

Made some fit chicken salad wraps for dinner, now chilling watching simpsons movie . Ben

Got out of work early so sat in the garden having a tinker with the bike, sometimes I'm happier fixing stuff than I am riding! Shame the chain is too long to just sit in the dropouts, but too short to fit adjusters . Also, rear bearings are a bit loose, but ho hum! Ben

Stubborn freewheel: 0 Me: 1. Wouldn't budge even after hitting with a hammer etc, ended up slipping my old motorbike exhaust over the wrench which gave enough leverage to get the b*****d off . Ben
