  1. PM'd you Munch 8987 I can assure you that the quality of the finish is amazing, as i said, its baked in a low bake oven, and there will be no dry patches or runs and will be like a factory finish, you pay for quality
  2. kool, nice mate, shame about the phone camera, looks good though Hope my advice helped Steve
  3. Hey Hey tim! Long time no see! Colchester mate, id do matt black forks, for £30
  4. Hi, im just wondering, who would be interested in getting there frame, forks or whatever else resprayed, im a proffesional panel beater and sprayer and i work for a quality company. I have worked on many prestige cars, race cars and classic cars from Lotus Cortina's, Jaguar E-types, Jaquar XK140, Cooper Monaco, Genetta's, Aston Martin DB9, DB7, Porches, Ferraris, Subaru's, Mitso Evo's, Skylines and also normal everyday vehicles like BMW's, Vauxhalls, Peugeot and many many more... Im wondering who would be interested, i can offer a top quality A1 finish of pretty much any sort, from nomal base coat colours to flash effects, like marble, pearls, flip, two-tone, metal flake, all of which would be sprayed in a low bake spray booth oven and then properly baked. I would do it on a basis of you send me the frame and i send it back to you, or depending where you live, it would be possible to meet up. If theres anyone whos interested, let me know and i can sort some prices, let me know what finish you would like and colour etc etc... Thanks, Steve

  6. not much at all Ive always got all my stuff from Chris at Cleanbikes since i first started riding, and they sort me out some nice deals, just want a sponsor off them now
  7. no mate, thats it really, you can give it another coat of laquer if you really want, really shine it up and get bits that you might have missed (the bits that look dry) other than that, your done, if youve got any runs you can flat them out, wet on wet with 800 grade paper, then polish it up, but as its just a frame, it dont have to be perfect. I had a frame and i was going to respray it at work in a 7 clour flip, we had some paint left over from a mini we resprayed, couldnt be bothered in the end thgough.

  16. Im a proffesional panel beater and sprayer, i work on every make of car, repairing and spraying them, its quite simple to spray a frame, strip it, sand it down smooth, using about an 80 grit paper 1st, amybe a 120 grit, then work your way up the grades, up to a 320 then probly a 500, make sure its all smooth, then blow off, preffrably with an airline, get some panel wipe, wipe it over so its dirt free, use and etch primer 1st, especially on bare metal, then use some ordinary metal primer spray, then top coats, then laquar. Make sure you give even coats and coverage at a distance of about 15 cm away from frame, polish it after dry, wet falt any runs
  17. It dont matter if its an aluminium frame, you just tig weld it, i do all sorts of welding, tig, mig, ark, spot and even leading etc etc... how do you think your frame is joined together? as long as youve got the 100% bang on correct measurments and all that it should be fine, if your that worried about it cracking (which it should be ok) just re-strengthen it by re-welding it. Get a proffesional to do it though, you have to know what your doing with tigging Hope that helped
