yes they should be.i think. there 2 different steel AXLES (a standard steel axle then a stainless steel axle) and then 1 titanium axle as far as i have been instructed by the rep from pace, he showed me some of the BB and they do look the nutts, deffinatly look strong and durable enough. i couldnt remember if it was deffinatly SKF or FKS hehe. (Y) the different types of b/b are XC,Freeride and like a DH/Trials b/b. Waynio....................

iv tried pashley about this and they didnt know anything about it. i personally think the prototypes were made by leeson :D (Y)" then the production line (after matt had designed it) Waynio......................

i think doney got 4th/5th................ (Y) :P hes going into masters next year. WOOWOO. he will be only the 6/7th person to get into the master category in the world!!!! im sure you will easy do it next year dan :D :S Waynio......................... ye well done to slinger too.....puts him in with a good chance to get a good place too.

also just to give you an idea Pace are importing a new BB make i think its SKF isis, better bearings different axles and combinations they start around £40 up, i think the prices are £40/£55/£80ish. there are steel, stainless steel and titanium versions and all in the different lengths but the good thing is they do a 128mm one in isis. so should be perfect for the trials market. specially with the steel axle. we have ordered a fair few of them. should receive them (edit In the next few weeks) been now told begin september time. dave you deffo need to use a 127.5mm axle length BB for deffinate to give chainstay clearance. also may need to use spacers to the driveside to get a little bit more for the right hand arm. Waynio........................ Tensile do a bash as well as Coust and Koxx etc etc.........plenty to choose from

it deffo is out of hand now................... Waynio............... yo Joe i hope i didnt come across to being an ass bout the north/south thing iv just had that feeling for a while probly not due to any people in particular just when riding and getting to know people. i would say most of us from north (people will probably say this bout the south too) but we try to get chatty with people.i just hope that there is never a problem with people from different areas as iv said before this country aint big enough!!!!i went to auz a year and 8 months ago and when over there met some AMAZING lads the likes of alex markwart and the other Alex all the lads from everywhere who i met were just soooooooo sound and always wanted to get on and have a laugh. i really do hope that it could be like that over here............we just need to stop the silly SH!T and get on with each other. as someone else said in the post "people need to tone down their opinions a little bit" maybe instead of "music was F**KING shit" to "music really wasnt to my liking but the riding was good"???? :D :P (Y) thats how for now boys and gals.................keep it real and KEEP SAFE!
-
we should all make videos with no music then see who sounds the harshest???? im sure i should win............... at the end of the day im not here to be "Smooth" as hell like alot of riders i just want to try big moves and enjoy myself thats why when it comes to testing parts if i aint breaking them i dont see how anyone else can be????and if they are its them that are ruffer than me???? Waynio..................... it would be kool to see a video with no music and then see if people get bored cos i think i would pretty easily.................the music makes you want to keep watching most of the time...........

Dave = chill pill  (Y) dont worry bout owt dave you made your comment its purely difference in opinions that clash alot on the forum. i dont even let it get to me its not worth the arguement except in the other thread it got outta control. just comment on vid. i think it was a pretty kool vid riding was "Big" and thats how i thort and interpreted that most people on here liked to see. id best go back to the drawing board and come up with sumot of my own. at least the opinions of other riders comes out and then people can take that into consideration. Waynio..................... some of the posts in the other topic actually helped alot.i was out with akrigg last night and saw what i thort were great lines aswell as akrigg we will see when his vids released what people think (might be too big and streety :) )

All of ashtons bikes have/are "Imported" to Scarborough by base, Roy who is the owner of "Bike-It" sells the base brand and does alot of import work there fore it was easier for Ashton to go to him and say can you send this to Taiwan and get 100 made and then get them to ocme back in your big container you have instead of having to buy a container and have to have frames made every 3/4months. its purely for the ease of someone having there bikes imported with someone else to make it easier. if anyone has ever had an ashton delivered check on the ANC tab where it has come from and it will say "Bike-It" scarborough. i think its rather kool, thats why when low on stock specially with the new ones with their being 2 colours it will be harder for mertyn to know what he ha available but again there only a phone call away. martyn takes them at "Ashton Bikes" then rings roy and says this this and this to this this and this address. o o o o o o Mr beagrie, the bears have escaped from the zoo!!!!! i seem to remember Mr C-L-Scott being northerna nd all you southerners love him???? WHY THE F**K is the a north south divide???get a grip and get a life the lot of you its not about being northern or not! i went "down SOUTH" last tuesday and had one of the best rides of my bikig career met loads of new faces and saw some extra-ordinary riding coming from riders from all over NOT just one particular area. if your so bothered bout the north n south thing you really are short sighted. i dont know why some of you dont come up here once in a while to test the water up here??? i dont care but this post has gone way too far out of proportion with SH!T. Waynio....................... Lee there is more to trials than videos. ask half of these lads what there comp results are???? its 50/50 split.so lets just ease it down and chill down the pork roast. if anyone want to turn upto Bradford on Friday night there more than welcome??
-
the way i look at it. Brake = working awesum pad wear rate quite fast = i dont care cos my brake is working WIKID! Brake = working quite poor or very on/off = bit of a problem death could be round the corner!!!!! so i really like to go with the top option (Y) :) keeps me safe and worry free  Waynio........................

is that not the leeson style hanger?????? pashley never made it "their standard hanger" they (i think) only used it on the proto type frame/s. so i you have a prototype frame then you need to contact either leeson or a home bodge is in store. or you could go see your local engineer and ask him to knock you 2/3 up. iv found if you put a deep grind on it lasts longer, put a sharp not so deep grind on and you end up taking your wheel out every 5minutes to grind it. Waynio................... and i will ride in anything Mud,SH!T, water, sand. so a deep grind wont wear down as quick when loads of mud, grit and SH!T are trying to wear it down. terror error probably has a pair of pads that im getting next week off heatsink (if what he has got are heatsink) its not as if things like this are top secret brake pads are brake pads. if they work "THAT" good you would want to advertise them to let people know how good they are. personally i dont think heatsink needs to make any more pads than the Honigs and Konigs as both have been awesum for me. but hey others may have different opinions mine wore down spot on, didnt have any MAJOR premature wear problems.

there clothes were all piss wrapped and extremly smelly :P they did stoke while they were on the way back up from surrey. Waynio................... cant wait for the vid, might need you to wack it on a cd for me mike if poss????? as the comp at work gets full up easy with stuff (Y) im sure i will keep in touch with kenny, hes a F**KING LEGEND!iv known him like 6/7hours but it feels like iv known him for about 5/6 years. get yourselves over to shipley this week for a beasty street ride and a cracker in bradford on friday night if your all up for it??? Waynio................... KEEP IT REAL! i will be on tour in 06 with you all 4 deffo.
-
Capiche..........deffinatly couldnt agree more with you mate. Waynio...............

if the job gets done weathe rit be clean or not?????its mission complete. i were doing a line in bristol that probably not many people would have looked at nailed it how i wanted was pleased ok was rough who cares!!!!then cap did it and he gapped all the rails TOP respect to him. but i had done the line how i wished weather it be smooth or rough. you get the job done, you get much more respect (or so it seems) if your doing huge sidehops and gaps than if your "freestlying" it up. but hey different peoples vids are different, lee you have to take the knocks with the bumps but at the end of the day i think it was a wikid vid and shows you have got balls and moves are huge. Waynio......................
-
could some one link me something to D/L that runs the vid please???? sorry for being so stupid. Waynio....................
-
i can usually do 8 pretty much in a row. im sure me and ben was trying 9 at the 1st indoor bike battle thing in wales. he was rinsing it nearly every time too!!!!it took me bout 20 goes but i cant remember if that was 8 or 9 but im sure it was 9. but its just so F**KING high. haha. Waynio..................... 8 blue pallets = 50 inches?if im right? (Y) 9 = 56 1/4" inches i was probably only getting 8 pallets realistically. but it was pretty bloody big and i thort it was 9 neva mind must have been dreaming it. im sure that "Propa" blue pallets are around 6 1/4" per pallet well the ones round ere are :P

dont forget these frames are made in like 100's and 100's so the tolerances as long as it meets their criteria wont be a problem, and to be honest it is usually "Tolerances" are checked in the UK and they may not be checked. so there may be a batch of them that are a few mm out more than the others. Waynio........................
-
yo dude are these the red pads or the murky yellow colour???? i just waked mine on dragged brake for a minute or two while pissing around then got straight into action. didnt even consider bedding them in as such. Waynio...................... go try a big gap and be positive then they will suprise you even more when they hold..........absolutly awesum.
-
dont go silly with the grinder!!!!mine lasted bout 6weeks BUT had a few muddy rides and the grinds i put on (3of them (Y) ) were super duper harsh. but the brake didnt let me down AT all. Waynio........................ you can always grind harshly then just sand the sharpness off if you think its too harsh. you cant put more on with out grinding it again making the rim thinner and thinner.
-
minta ali! i may see you out on a ride this week if you fancy it????wednesday we will go somewhere???is aran about???get him to come too. Waynio..................
