well i ride a radix and you do street, so can't say but everybody who does street loves them. they seem very bouncy compared to my last tyres. also work great on my radix, apart from the tyre roll
-
yeah, when i changed to a danny mac tyre from a kenda blue groove, i started getting bad tyre roll which i didn't get before
-
what tyre is it?
-
or if it's a new bike the ffw in't fully tightened on properly??? also how tight is your chain?
-
Well it looks lovely as it is. If that's what youre using it for, I wouldn't change a thing
well he is obviously not using it for street trials e.g. mac mac skillz
-
i asked who would be supplying them and im yet to get an answer
considering that they replied next day from the first email and it's been nearly 3 days since the seondd i don't think im getting a reply
ive got one of the old sl 24" atm so just want the front to be honest
-
i think you's need longer bolts
edit, thought you were planning on running a booster soory, yes i think that should be fine, but if ther are to long for some reason then you can cut them down
i use m5 x 25
-
the onza t pro 09 used to be that price
-
i emailed echo about the echo SL rims not being available in 24" and i got a reply saying they'd be available next month
-
there are low bb 24" frames they are called inspired bycicals

i run a tensile 60 click trust it more than echo sl ones
-
well if your a beginer the if it's trial specific then it's not crap.
-
not nesocerrilly maybe they just take the front brake off to keep, nut that doesn't make it shit, just makes it without a front brake. some people like riding without a front brake........
-
why would i put a shit pair of pads into cnc backings? do you not understand? my coust pads were shit
-
Hmm all cousts come with CNC aluminium backings don't they? But yeah CNC backings make a hell of a nicer fit but you have to get them dead square otherwise like in your case, they will be shiteee haha
no? not french ones
-
ffs, i have a smooth rim now on the yellows with tar and with cousts i had a grind and no tar, they were set up close, there was nothing wrong but the pads, possible out of a bad batch?
also my heatsinks may be better because they're in tnn cnc backings?
-
i understood it, what he means is ( i think) he recieved a k2 rim and the holes had been cut but not been poped out.
also bj ordered one but had to send it back because the spacing between one of the holes was about 1 mm
-
i'd try sending it back, buy obviously if it were me the seller woun't allow it or claim id damaged it. id start a dispute thread that would end badly .........
-
I've never had a shit brake when running French cousts. You may have had the heatsink pads, the heatsink cousts are different material, despite what he says, I know this because I've tried both of them on the same rim, with a fresh harsh grind and the heatsink performance was considerably lower. ADM's are ok, but I prefer the bite and hold of French cousts, and when you are a big f**ker like me, it matters lol
Jeeez, that's bizarre. I really hate to say it but there must have been something wrong with your setup or something. They really are awesome pads! You weren't running tar like you are now? What rim were you running? Just curious
there wasn't, they were real french cousts! and the rim/s were both echo tr 20" and 26". i wasn't using tar either. they just didn't work for me AT ALL.
heatsink yellows ***
-
only because he didn't have to post them to me as i live locally to him ........
-
Hmm cousts are supposed to be like best pads going... Maybe the setup you had for your rim brakes wasn't close enough to the rim, may need a wider rim like 32mm+
no, i ran them for the best part of 6 months, i tried them with varius different brake setups and were always shit! and there not the best pads it's just what people say, best is personal opinion, and in my opinion heatsink yellows are the best!
-
I'm pretty sure running cousts on a ground rim would stop you dead on, so I've heard anyway
not me, i have never had a good brake on my own bike when running cousts

i bought a t pro 09 version when i was year 7 of school (don't know the age i was though) as something to help with balance etc for the motorbike as i was pretty keen or the motor bikes back then but the push bike trials quickly over took the motorbikes when i bought my second bike a year ago (echo pure)
