  1. Try again.

Do you use google chrome or mozilla firefox? If so you do realise you can download a spell checker browser extension? I don't know about I.E. As well... It's I.E.!

It probably can be bled with water like a maggy, I had one of the originals bled with water fine. However like a magura, if you need to claim on warranty it will be void due to you not using the correct fluid.

So yeah, should be fine.... sory about my settings. to be honest i turned it off in my pocket because i dont have a passcode and all my settings get altered my phone has been in my pocket.

Also i had the original, ran it with maggie 4 finger lever though. Interested to see how the new lever perfoms. If i do buy one. It will have to have ny racing line piston in

Also most of the paint jas come off my racingline piston? Is this bad? (Sorry for the thread rape)

  2. clean the pads really good before attempting to glue them in again,i guess super glue wont hold onto fish bones either :)

No no, ive fitted them going to jave to file another 3 mm of them, did you ever measure them? Bacause i have filled ar fair bit off them already, ivwould recomend filling just the crusty coatong off them to hoever has an unused pair, would save a lot of waring in.

Also the pads match my rimtape prefectly. Look amazing on the bike.

P.s. still doesnt change my mond that there are to many pads that are green

  3. wtf is fish glue then?

i use cyanacrylate based glue or freshly mixed pad material, its also a good glue.

I looked it up, its and its crushed fish bones, i couldnt get the lid of the super glue so that was the only alternative, thought it was very strong because it said stuff aboute resisting the urge to be sick if swalled. And rinse skin for 5 mins of come in contract. But asked dad and said it wasnt very strong compared to super glue.

  4. as much as a wide pad is good for wear time, you could always take some pad material off to fit your setup though

Already said i filled them down, just gonna do it loads as the were cheap,

And i glued mine with fish glue thought it were strong as it had a dick ton of warnings, and i found it ita really not strong.

  5. no,no i think its good to get input, thanks really.

but my thoughts are, this is just a hobby project by now, even IF their performance is suffering from bubbles in the pad body its just not a professionally produced pad,i am doing this in my very own kitchen and there are like 30 sets of pads by now,c'mon,if one set is dead, here comes the next one.

if a set only lasts a month i have pads for years, here in my kitchen, for 4 euros a set.

its just that i dont think theyre thaaaat bad, have ridden mine 3x2hours now and no signs of wear.riding manuals and spins where you have to drag the brakes a fair bit more than in pure trials, where its more on/off.

try to slow down a manual to a backwheel stance, thats resulting in more wear than say,gap-close brake mid air-land...

    i like them

big grin everytime i pull the rear brake.

funny thing happened today for example:a few days ago i put some on the front wheel of my commuter, just for fun mainly and to check smooth rim performance.

today i had to do a full-on stop because a car driver decided to enter the street with his audi backwards without looking first.

what should i say?new fork installed now,the old one bent from the braking force :)

i went a bit offtopic here sorry.do the oven trick mate :)

Well ill testing them on smooth rims as i refuse to grind my new rims. So ill let you know how i get on woth them. And i dont care that this has gone off topic because i had my answer anyway.

yeah it'll loose like 1% if that, and pads slip anyway when they're not ridden properly (landings and balance point put together ect) i would have thought bubbles would offer more bite, after all its how a rim grind works accept the other way around i guess? :)

I think you have this wrong, im thinking completely the oposite to you. You get as much bite, if not more with smooth rims, just theu have to be dry

And not all pads slip, i know mine dont
