  1. If your brake squeaks when you're going backwards and not forwards, maybe the pads don't contact the rim squarely when you break, meaning they are tilted away from the rim a bit more at the top. I found exactly the same thing happening on my hydraulic rim brakes, but I guess this still applies to vee's? Anyways try and look at how your pads contact the rim, and adjust them so that when the brake is engaged they are absolutely square. I don't know how easy or hard it is on bee's though, but it's quite easy to do on hydraulic brakes.
  2. I've heard those Camin carbon bikes are not bad, and they certainly look very special! Though I have no idea how much they cost and whether they are at all available in the UK (I presume that's where you are from).
  3. I've had a pair of 5.10 freerider for 2.5 years or so, and I don't think I ever had a problem with grip, both on trials and downhill bikes. And they are also super comfortable for me and quite light. A bit expensive, at least around where I live, but seriously these shoes are awesome! Totally a worthwhile investment, especially since they are good for any biking you do, while trials shoes probably aren't great for downhill/enduro
  4. Morning, lovely people! I'm Ivan, from Russia (obviously) but live in Switzerland since 5 years. Started trials a while ago, three years maybe, no idea how I managed to overlook this forum! I started with some street trials but after half a year moved on to more of a competition style of riding, which I find much more fun! (just my opinion) Anyways, good to finally find a bunch of like minds! See you all around, Ivan
