  1. Joe's riding was nuts, it was really impressive, Simpson's riding was entertaining
  2. Really wish I'd stayed and fixed my puncture now, never mind, Martin what happened to the pictures of me hopping to rear at the grey walls and doing the gap across the grills and the same spot? both the same spot as photo 2 with Andy. I would love to see them.
  3. I'm tempted, but seems like a small ride. Will see what's on Sunday, tempted to crash round someones sat night then ride somewhere Sunday. Anyone fancy it?
  4. Looks like I left too early. Nevermind, it was worth leaving early to get molested by Joe. My body was aching so much from yesterday, I can't wait to see what those gaps look like in the pics. C'mon Martin sort it out
  5. It was a great day, never seen so many punctures in one ride, lol.
  6. I've just got into Reading from my demo, I'm staying in a hotel right next to the hexagon, so I'm gonna get a nice lay in, lol. Off to see Transformers in abit, catch you all tomorrow morning.
  7. Just check the description, I think it'll say it removes tar, but just check.
  8. Not sure about the plastic tubing, probably best to stick with either magura plastic tubing or upgrade to magura braided , hope braided or goodridge braided hosing. As for the rim your best bet would be to grind the rim, quick and simple. If you don't want to do that then your gonna need a cleaning product, I think muc off brake cleaner may work.
  9. That's cool Danny, early isn't a problem I'll just go find a mc donalds and grab some breakfast. Shame you can't ride.
  10. If you want to change your ratio divide your front by your rear, so 20 divided by 17 = 1.17 now if you want to make your gearing easier/lighter then you need to reduce your ratio so it's closer to 1 (direct drive). If you want it harder/heavier then you need to increase the number away from 1 My ratio on my stock is 18-16 which is 1.125 so my gearing is alot lighter than yours. If you decide to change your ratio, then just play around on a calculator to find the gearing you want.
  11. Il see if I'm free, been awhile since I last came down.
  12. I'm doing a demo with him this Saturday, so if you've still not heard from him by Friday night then pm me your name and whatever details you've sent mike and I'll pass it on to him.
  13. I'm in, is there any chance someone can put me up for the night on Saturday?
  14. I'm going down to Poole this evening for a little ride, so if anyone else fancies it your more than welcome.I should be down the quay from about 5. If anyone wants to get hold of me, my number is 07533356898
  15. Just wanted to say thankyou to Dave for the invite to todays ebtc trial. I had a great day, though I found elite quite challenging I enjoyed it loads. I hope I can make more ebtc trials in the future.
  16. Lot's of it is man made, and according to Goddard is big moves, much like riding street.
  17. Grant Hudley's king his super loud, the loudest one i've ever heard, so best bet would be to pm him. he told me he stretched the spring, but prob best to pm him for full details.
  18. All come to the Essex comp at Barrow farm.
  19. Luke you just need to let Dave Bradbury (noworries) know that you'll be coming so he know's number's, then just turn up with entry form filled in on the day.
  20. For some reason people call a frenchie a move when you go front to back. I just call it a front to back
  21. Your all just being silly now. It depends in what way you mean by the ultimate trick. I mean in a game such a Tony Hawks to get a really high trick score you would have to link loads of tricks together. But as far as trials goes I would say the ultimate trick would have to be something that is not particularly big but technical, as the ultimate trick can't be something simple otherwise how can that be ultimate.
  22. Was there Sunday. It's free parking after 12 mid-day, but only £4 for the day if you get there before.
  23. Pretty much, though you will need to screw the adjuster screws in on the mech to stop it shifting over the top cog and into the spokes and the same with the smallest cog.
  24. The easiest way to get a job working on bikes full-time is to go to Halfords. The majority of the trials rider's in this country have worked for them at least once. I worked for them for 3 years. Unless you work for a specialist bike shop that deals with high end bikes, then it's never really gonna be great. I found that after working on bikes all day, you'd spend less time fixing your's up, just because you got fed up of bike's.
